Credit to Cash Manager
Role Summary
Colgate-Palmolive is seeking an agile and strategic Credit to Cash (C2C) Manager to champion cash flow optimization and lead our end-to-end accounts receivable operations for North America. Based in Mexico City and reporting directly to the CBS Credit to Cash Director, you will serve as the primary financial bridge and single point of contact for the business. In this role, you will monitor process efficiencies, manage high-level customer escalations, and drive key AR reporting metrics. Responsibilities

Process Excellence: Monitor and analyze key performance metrics across deductions, collections, credit management, and cash application to maximize quality and efficiency.

Financial Close & Reporting: Lead the month-end close process, establishing bad debt and cash discount reserve analyses, preparing executive commentary, and driving monthly performance alignment.

Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with Customer Development Organizations (CDO), Finance Managers, and Customer Business Services (CBS) to resolve past-due balances, credit holds, and quarterly rebate reviews.

Risk & Compliance: Manage the annual Revenue SOX compliance process, own the internal/external audit relationships, and evaluate customer credit risk to recommend new credit limits.

Portfolio Governance: Supervise corporate legal accounts, manage suspense ledger entries, execute bad debt write-offs, and file and monitor bankruptcy claims.

Team Leadership: Coach and develop direct reports by setting annual objectives, conducting performance reviews, and executing Individual Development Plans (IDPs) while hosting regular financial workshops for broader cross-functional teams.

Continuous Improvement: Partner with IT and local finance teams to accelerate process automation, drive system improvements in account planning analytics, and ensure a smooth rollout of S4 Hana.
Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

5+ years of experience within Credit to Cash (C2C) or Accounts Receivable operations.

Demonstrated experience coordinating internal/external audits and managing SOX compliance.

Proven experience leading, coaching, and developing direct reports.
Preferred Qualifications

Experience working within the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry.

Technical proficiency with SAP, S4 Hana, Atlas, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint.

Strong functional competency in working capital optimization, cash flow management, and financial statement analysis.

Excellent communication, relationship-building, and cross-functional leadership skills in a large virtual organization.

High adaptability with a proven track record of driving process simplification and innovation.
