Credit-to-Cash (C2C) Manager

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Role Summary

Are you a strategic finance leader with a passion for driving innovation and operational excellence? As the Credit-to-Cash (C2C) Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end order-to-cash cycle for the subsidiary, serving as the primary single point of contact and strategic partner for the business. Reporting directly to the Credit-to-Cash Director, you will lead, coach, and develop a high-performing team dedicated to maximizing cash flow, optimizing working capital, and ensuring financial compliance. By combining deep analytical acumen with a continuous improvement mindset, you will champion technical systems evolution, cultivate cross-functional alignment, and protect the organization's financial health in a dynamic, matrixed environment.

Responsibilities

  • Credit & Revenue Oversight: Direct the end-to-end collections, cash application, and credit management workflows, including evaluating customer credit risk, determining limits, and executing financial strategies to reduce aging balances.

  • Deductions & Dispute Management: Lead cross-functional strategies with Sales, Logistics, and external customers to proactively investigate, validate, or dispute customer short-payments, trade compliance issues, and pricing variances.

  • Compliance & Audit Leadership: Serve as the strategic owner for annual revenue internal controls, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance, and Gross-to-Net (GTN) reviews, coordinating directly with internal and external auditors.

  • Month-End Financial Reporting: Oversee month-end closing processes, deliver comprehensive key performance indicator (KPI) presentation summaries to executive leadership, and manage bad debt and cash discount reserve analyses.

  • People Leadership & Capability Building: Coach and mentor direct reports by establishing clear objectives and supporting performance development plans, while hosting internal workshops to elevate financial acumen across commercial teams.

  • Systems & Process Evolution: Drive the standardization and simplification of financial models, partnering directly with IT to optimize accounting analytics and support the successful global rollout of SAP S/4HANA.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.

  • Experience: 5+ years of progressive experience managing Credit-to-Cash (C2C), Accounts Receivable (AR), or Order-to-Cash (O2C) business operations.

  • Leadership Capability: Proven experience directly supervising professional teams and leading cross-functional initiatives within a matrixed or global corporation.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: Solid foundation in Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), revenue recognition policies, and corporate financial controls.

  • Technical Systems Skillset: Advanced proficiency in enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (such as SAP) alongside standard spreadsheet and presentation data tools.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry Experience: Background leading digital finance transformations or accounting teams within a fast-moving global Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment.

  • Change Management: Demonstrated success navigating large-scale technical migrations, systems rollouts, or automated process mapping initiatives.

  • Strategic Communication: Exceptional communication and relationship management skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders, negotiate customer disputes, and manage commercial relationships.

  • Professional Network Engagement: Active involvement or connection with industry credit networks and financial best-practice share groups.
