CBS Contract Management Specialist

Location: Mexico City 

 

 

Role Summary

 

As a CBS Contract Management Specialist, you will drive the coordination and execution of our end-to-end contracting process across North America and Mexico, with potential future expansion into other Latin American regions. Sitting within our CBS Legal organization, you will act as a pivotal bridge between Legal, Procurement, and Supplier teams to build solid and sustainable business relationships through agile, efficient, and compliant contract drafting. Leveraging automated contract lifecycle management systems, you will ensure our commercial and legal terms feature robust KPIs and SLAs while safeguarding company standards.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Lead the drafting, negotiation, and execution of commercial and legal contracts across North America and Mexico using automated templates and pre-approved clause playbooks.

  • Manage contract escalations by partnering closely with Procurement, CBS Legal, and Global Legal to obtain specialized guidance on complex key terms through to final approval.

  • Supervise the contract signature and execution process while ensuring seamless alignment and communication across cross-functional and regional partners.

  • Perform system administration functions, continuous maintenance, and configuration updates for contract generation and contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms.

  • Monitor performance obligation reports, tracking continuous progress toward contract compliance, timely renewals, and necessary modifications.

  • Contribute to the ongoing maintenance of corporate contracting policies, guidelines, forms, and model contracting systems while supporting strategic ad-hoc projects.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, International Business, International Relations, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 3+ years of experience in contract management and contract negotiation.

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal).

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Hands-on experience operating within an automated Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system.

  • Functional knowledge of U.S. and non-U.S. contracting statutes and commercial laws.

  • Proficiency in Portuguese.

  • Industry experience within Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG).

  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional negotiation skills.
