ABOUT THE ROLE
Are you ready to drive strategic growth with one of our most important commercial partners? We are looking for a highly driven Key Customer Development Manager to lead our partnership with Grupo Éxito based in Medellín!
In this critical role, you will be responsible for translating corporate strategy and brand objectives into profitable, sustainable business growth. You will own the full customer relationship, drive volume and net sales, manage the end-to-end P&L, and significantly impact our market share. MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Business Planning & Execution: Lead the development, negotiation, and execution of annual and long-term Joint Value Plans (JVPs) with Grupo Éxito, ensuring total alignment with strategic priorities such as category growth, brand share, profitability targets, and 7P execution goals.

P&L Management: Own full customer P&L responsibility by meticulously managing trade spending, promotional investments, and gross-to-net costs to ensure optimal ROI and profitable sales growth.

Strategy & Omnichannel Translation: Act as the internal champion for the customer, translating commercial strategies and brand marketing plans into actionable customer-specific objectives across pricing, distribution, visibility, and promotions—including omnichannel customer programs.

Forecasting & Inventory Optimization: Drive accurate demand forecasting in close collaboration with Supply Chain and Finance to minimize out-of-stocks, reduce customer inventory days, and ensure efficient product flow.

Key Customer Relationship Management & Negotiation: Build, maintain, and expand deep, trust-based, multi-level relationships. Lead all key negotiations including annual terms, promotional calendars, new product listings, and category management initiatives.

Data & Insights Utilization: Leverage syndicated data, shopper insights, and customer-specific analytics to identify market trends, uncover growth opportunities, and present compelling, fact-based business solutions to the customer.

In-Store & Online Superior Execution: Ensure flawless execution at the point of sale in line with agreed-upon JVPs and company standards. Proactively engage in Category Management projects to establish our business as a trusted advisor, leading to improved shelf space, optimal planograms, and category expansion.

Auditing & Corrective Action: Regularly conduct store visits and utilize field sales reporting to monitor 5P compliance, quickly identify execution gaps, and implement swift corrective actions.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Teamwork: Serve as the central point of contact driving internal alignment with Customer Marketing/Trade Marketing (to deploy tailored shopper programs), Finance (to manage budgets and profitability), and Supply Chain/Logistics (to ensure superior service levels and delivery efficiencies). Contribute to the broader Customer Development team by sharing best practices and actionable insights.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Completed bachelor's degree.

At least 5 years of commercial experience (Sales, Account Management, or Customer Development).

Solid track record in sales strategy and key commercial negotiations.

Proficiency in English.

Skills in Google Suite tools (Docs, Slides, Sheets) or equivalent productivity applications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in Retail Marketing or E-commerce / Omnichannel execution.

Strong leadership, effective communication, dynamic collaboration skills, and a track record of using data-driven insights to inspire forward action.
