Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose:

Are you ready to own the digital and physical infrastructure of a world-class manufacturing facility? In this dynamic role, you will influence the future of our site operations by driving the convergence of critical utilities, smart factory automation, and cutting-edge digital transformation (AI/ML/IoT). You will lead our campus sustainability roadmap, manage high-impact capital projects, and implement predictive maintenance models to ensure peak operational excellence. Responsibilities:

  • Own Critical Utilities & Safety: Oversee the operation, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance, chillers, water systems, AHUs, and site security/firefighting infrastructure while ensuring strict compliance with quality SOPs and basic GMP norms.

  • Drive Digital Transformation & Smart Factory: Lead the deployment of IoT solutions, edge devices, and AI/ML use cases (such as predictive maintenance and anomaly detection) while designing and maintaining the site’s OT/IT network architecture, PLCs, and SCADA platforms.

  • Execute Capital Projects & CI: Manage the design, implementation, and handover of capital projects (CEB) and structural upgrades, collaborating with central teams and contractors to drive continuous improvement (CI) and automation standardizations.

  • Lead Sustainability & Environmental Performance: Translate corporate environmental targets into site-level action by optimizing energy, fuel, and water consumption, while ensuring the compliant operation of the Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) and tracking key CO₂ and utility KPIs.



Required  Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Instrumentation, Automation, or a related technical field).

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in managing critical plant utilities, industrial automation (PLC/SCADA), and manufacturing facility infrastructure.

  • Hands-on experience with industrial automation applications, specifically Allen-Bradley (AB) PLC/SCADA platforms and Wonderware/AVEVA systems.

  • Proven experience in managing OT/IT infrastructure, including plant floor networks, servers, and LAN segments.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Prior experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) industry.

  • Demonstrated experience deploying IoT sensors and utilizing data-driven AI/ML models for predictive maintenance or energy optimization.

  • Strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and communication skills to drive a data-driven culture and train teams on digital dashboards.

  • Strong analytical mindset with a background in leading sustainability, Energy Management Standards, or Loss Control initiatives.
