As the Manager - Logistics, you will be responsible for leading the Colgate Palmolive South ASEAN Hub (Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore and Indonesia) logistics strategy to ensure effective and efficient delivery to our Global and Local retailers and distributors with cross functional collaborations. 

 

Logistics & Plant Operations

  • Serve as the main contact for CPPJ outbound logistics, supervising associates, resolving cross-functional issues, and approving 3PL shuttling KPIs by monitoring greater than 5 daily loads on the floor.

  • Perform daily STO reconciliation by matching receiving status against original STOs, and monitor accuracy by resolving SAP errors for CPPJ outbound and Ceva inbound EDI.

  • Manage CHEP pallets via daily empty pallet monitoring and monthly loss/gain reconciliation to prevent plant disruption, and oversee Goods Receipt (GR) for TBCN returns from Ceva to CPPJ.

  • Arrange CPPJ logistics area maintenance, drive process improvements, and conduct weekly plant walkabout audits.

Co-Packing & Vendor Management

  • Oversee daily internal and external co-packing operations (including staff sales/free products) by negotiating cost structures, liaising with Marketing and Supply Planners and holding Weekly copacking meetings.

  • Lead promo banding and perpetual co-packing projects by coordinating with Packaging, Procurement, and Supply Planners.

  • Responsible for copacking cost calculation, PO issuances and copacking SKU master data.

  • Conduct site visits for capacity studies, process sustainability, and quality inspections.

  • Ensure full vendor compliance by tracking performance and conducting co-packer audits and due diligence.

  • Track monthly co-packing costs for labor and packing materials.

  • Deliver  FTG (Funding The Growth) savings targets on customization.

Workforce & Financial Administration

  • Manage union workers' performance, arrange weekly shift schedules and overtime, and update the Kronos Time Clocking system daily for overtime claim submissions.

  • Process Ariba PO creation,  including Goods Receipts (GR) and error resolution, for Co-packing materials.

  • Perform daily STO reconciliation by matching receiving status against original STOs, and monitor accuracy by resolving SAP errors for CPPJ outbound and Ceva inbound EDI.

  • Responsible for Co-packing cost calculation.

EHS & Compliance

  • Act as the EHS Standard Owner for the yard and material handling equipment, ensuring all EHS standards are actively updated and complied with.

  • Comply with all general company policies and standards, performing other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent from an accredited college or university

  • Relevant work experience with prior experience in Customer Service, Logistics Operations, Demand/Supply Planning, Purchasing or Global Supply Chain collaboration are desirable 

  • Leadership experience in a Multinational Company (MNC) setup 

  • Excellent communication skills (both internally & externally) and analytical are a must 

  • SAP experience is highly recommended  /Utilization of Supply Chain system, data, tools using SAP
