As the Manager - Financial Services, you are responsible for management reporting and analytics, effective internal control and compliance, as well as process improvement, simplification and standardization. 

What you will do:

  • Coordination and oversight of general accounting processes within SAH

  • Monitor, review and collaborate with CBS teams in Mumbai on month-end closing, account reconciliation and journal entry processes.

  • Ensure internal controls are maintained in compliance with corporate policies and all related SOX and business operational controls are executed effectively.

  • Ensure internal and external audit preparations related to SOX, statutory interim and year-end financial statement audits are performed with strict adherence to agreed upon timelines.

  • Lead and implement process improvement projects related to general accounting processes.

  • Participate in new releases of SAP enhancements including regression testing and testing of technology enablers.

  • Manage general and property insurance profiles for the hub. Liaise with Corporate Risk Management and local agents on risk assessment to ensure adequate coverage.

  • Review and approve submission of statistical financial information to relevant government bodies.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must possess professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CFA etc)

  • Minimum 8 years experience with strong technical accounting knowledge in a Multinational Company setup, preferably in a FMCG setup or reputable audit firms 

  • Strong analytical skills and understanding of Financial Statement impact, Business Insights, Business Perspective & Partnering and etc, experience in SAP will be an added advantage

  • Demonstrated ability in research and issues resolution with proven ability to solve problems and resolve conflicts

  • Strong knowledge of general accounting processes, governance and controls.

  • Good communication, presentation skills and business acumen. Proficient in English.

  • Enjoys working cross-functionally and leverage on network to drive results
