About the Role

Are you a visionary maintenance professional ready to drive operational reliability and lead digital transformation on the shop floor? As our Maintenance Coordinator, you will take charge of corrective, preventive, and predictive maintenance while architecting our plant's long-term automation and Industry 4.0 strategy. You will act as a pivotal operational leader—optimizing equipment reliability, controlling maintenance budgets, and building a high-performing technical workforce through structured upskilling programs. Responsibilities

  • Equipment Reliability & Operations: Drive daily maintenance scheduling across electrical, mechanical, and tooling teams to maximize machine availability (AU) and optimize key metrics such as MTBF, MTTR, and unplanned downtime (UPDT).

  • Automation & Digital Strategy: Define, develop, and execute the plant's automation and Industry 4.0 roadmap, integrating robotics, advanced PLC systems, and data analytics to enhance safety and efficiency.

  • Budget & Cost Management: Manage the maintenance budget for spare parts and operating supplies, ensuring overall expenses align with target variable costs per ton and Funding the Growth (FTG) initiatives.

  • Workforce Upskilling & Development: Design and implement a structured technical skills development matrix for operators and mechanics, establishing competency baselines in partnership with HR to build internal technical autonomy.

  • Safety, Quality & EHS Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to company, local, and governmental guidelines regarding EHS, Quality, and Regulatory standards while supporting autonomous plant workgroups.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electronic, Mechatronic Engineering, or a highly related technical discipline.

  • At least 3+ years of experience within a maintenance department in a highly automated CPG or manufacturing production environment.

  • Experience controlling maintenance budgets, spare parts, and operating costs.

  • Practical proficiency in SAP as well as enterprise workspace tools (Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • At least 3+ years of hands-on experience working with plastic injection molds and tooling.

  • Track record of leading Industry 4.0, PLC programming, robotics, or automation integration projects on the factory floor.

  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills with a proven ability to coach frontline teams and engage cross-functional stakeholders.
