We are looking for a Sales Manager for Hill's Iberia, based in Madrid, responsible for negotiating with our key customers and ensure execution to achieve 5Ps strategies for each of our brands/categories, maintaining a long term relationship with them and maximizing sales opportunities in the Center and North East areas of Spain.

 

  • Developing, implementing and tracking midterm Regional Accounts strategies as well as yearly targets and KPIs in close cooperation with KA team leader.
  • Responsible for the Customer Strategic Commercial Plan to achieve Financial and 6Ps Objectives by Customer according to the Company Strategy, to drive profitability, increase sales, volumes, distribution and market share through excellence in 6P plan execution.
  • Understands customer’s needs to recommend business solutions.
  • Provides deep analysis of performance trends and monitors KPIs on consumer, product, price, competition, marketing and distribution process in order to define and implement effective action plans to continuously ensure long term growth with strategic accounts.
  • Leveraging customer data and existing tools to activate against Consumer Engagement strategies, driving conversion.
  • Builds relations with key customers/stakeholders.
  • Provides coverage of stores to understand business dynamicss.

 

Tasks & Responsibilities: 

  • Partner with Marketing to tailor 5Ps Category Commercial Plan by Customer/Store format.
  • Complete account specific promotion & tactical analysis to identify opportunities to optimize trade spending.
  • Develop Pricing & Promotion plan in alignment with brand strategies.
  • Implement Catman recommendations and on-shelf improvements by brand
  • Coordinate specific events and activations
  • Deliver sales targets within spending guidelines and alignment with brand strategy.
  • To control promotional and customer investment (debit notes/payment process)
  • Create & update monthly/quarterly reports to measure account performance and identify risks & opportunities.
  • Deliver ROI/post-game evaluations for account specific initiatives.
  • Develop/Maintain Demand Forecast (CBP) & Ensure Forecasting Accuracy.
  • Clear understanding of Customer 5P Strategies, policies & procedures, requirements and future direction .
  • Superior customer intelligence to know how to get things done at store level and ensure excellence in execution.
  • Complete frequent store visits to identify opportunities to drive brand / category sales.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team and CD Financial Manager to identify business building opportunities.


Education/ Experience Requirements:

  • University Degree (economics, Business Administration, Engineer)
  • Excellent computer literacy in Excel, Access and Google tools.
  • English & Spanish (Negotiation levels)
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in Customer Development/Sales or supporting in the management of Key Accounts 
  • Knowledge of Pet Food Specialty Channels is a plus

This position is offered under a permanent employment contract.

The initial compensation will be determined on the basis of objective, transparent and gender-neutral criteria, including professional experience, skills and competencies, qualifications, scope of responsibilities, role requirements, location, and internal company policies.

Variable Compensation: Subject to role eligibility and applicable company policy, employees may also be eligible to participate in variable compensation programs tied to company and/or individual performance, including an annual target bonus opportunity.
