We are looking for a Key Account Manager who will be responsible to ensure execution (internally and externally) with our key customers to achieve 5Ps strategies for each of our brands/categories, maintaining a long term relationship with them and maximizing sales opportunities.

 

  • Builds relations with key customers/stakeholders. 

  • Support the area for achieving the Company’s goals in terms of sales and distribution for the key customers.

  • Support the development of annual business plans for all key customers according to the Company Strategy, to drive profitably, increase sales, volumes, distribution and market share. 

  • Provides deep analysis of performance trends and monitors KPIs in order to define and implement effective action plans to improve performance.

  • Understands customer’s needs to recommend business solutions 

  • Provides coverage of stores to understand business dynamics

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

 

Support and implement Customer Strategic Commercial Plan to achieve Financial and 5Ps Objectives by Customer.

  • Partner with Re Marketing to tailor 5Ps Category Commercial Plan by Customer/Store format.

  • Complete account specific promotion & tactical analysis to identify opportunities to optimize trade spending.

  • Develop Pricing & Promotion plan in alignment with brand strategies.

  • Coordinate specific events activations.

  • Support the sales team to deliver sales targets within spending guidelines and alignment with brand strategy.

  • Support the sales team to control promotional and customer investment.

  • Create / Update Monthly / Quarterly reports to measure account performance .

  • Identify Risks & Opportunities

  • Support the sales team in business review preparation

  • Support the sales team in ROI / post-game evaluations for account specific initiatives.  Liaise with Retail Marketing and Finance to incorporate consumption & financial elements.

 

Support and manage commercial communication to support supply chain.

  • Develop/Maintain Demand Forecast (CBP) & Ensure Forecasting Accuracy.

  • Enter Customer Plan into Atlas.

  • Participate in Monthly CBP Discipline to review plans .

  • Communicate big hits to the Supply Chain team.

 

In depth knowledge of Customer and its performance in the marketplace.

  • Customer Intelligence

  • Clear understanding of Customer 5P Strategies, policies & procedures, requirements and future direction .

  • Develop relationships across the merchandising department of Customer Organization .

  • Superior customer intelligence to know how to get things done at store level and ensure excellence in execution.

  • Complete frequent store visits to identify opportunities to drive brand / category sales.

  • Customer Market Performance

  • Able to efficiently use available Category Management tools (eg. Nielsen, Homescan, Customer Sell out data, specific database,…) and CBP to understand consumption and shipment data to identify brand/category performance trends and opportunities.

  • In depth knowledge of Customer and its performance in the marketplace.

 

Collaborate with In Store coordinator, Retail Marketing team and CD Financial Manager to identify business building opportunities.

  • Partner with In Store Execution Team to coordinate information and monitor activities at store level - Monthly meetings .

  • Identify learnings & methods to improve execution.

Education/ Experience Requirements

 

  • 3+ years of experience in a commercial roles (category management /consumer marketing / customer development/ trade marketing) 

  • Fluent Spanish level

  • Advanced English Level 

  • Valid driver´s license 

  • Nielsen data management & reports (Scantrack, homepanel, trade panel…) , Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, power point) and Google Tools (google sheets & google slides) knowledge & desirable management of tools like SAP.
