Media and strategy

  • Own and drive regional media strategy

    • Work with regional media agency to build principle guidance and media playbooks for the local teams to use for their annual media plans

    • Partner with local teams to help build strong annual media plans

    • Drive the culture of testing & learning across the region

  • Drive media performance

    • Partner with local teams and agency teams to regularly monitor and review performance to optimize for performance

    • Bring in new learnings from external / partner businesses to further unlock growth

  • Building a strong relationship with the agency(s) through ongoing connects, feedback and partnership

E-commerce and performance marketing

  • Commercial and media strategy

    • Partner with the e-comm teams across the region to build strong commercial and retail media plans

    • Work with regional agency to build retail media playbooks for local teams to use for their local plans

  • Digital shelf optimisation

    • Partner with the e-comm teams to drive digital shelf fundamentals to develop a high performance conversion funnel

    • Partner to upgrade our PDPs, both by developing regional PDP templates as well as regular tracking and monitoring with local teams

    • Partner with regional brand teams in building regional e-commerce event bundle books for the local teams to use for their mega sales events

Digital footprint and engagement

  • Social CRM

    • Drive regional SCRM strategy and build playbooks for local teams to leverage in building their engagement plans

    • Champion 1P data - collect, optimize and utilize / monetize through sharper audience planning and personalisation

    • Manage regional contracts with agencies and external partners, and liaise with technology teams to build strong infrastructure

  • Digital products and brand footprint

    • Partner with internal and external teams to drive adoption and performance of Hill’s digital ecosystem, for both vets and pet parents

    • Partner to continuously optimize brand digital footprint, including brand websites, webpages, content etc

  • Manage and build strong agency network and relationships to create winning SCRM programs across the region

Build future focused IBE and performance marketing teams

  • Training and coaching towards upskilling of IBE teams across the region through sharing of best practices, building learning programs and coaching

  • Build the culture of data based performance marketing by driving an analytical data based approach to planning audiences, conversion funnels, personalisation and optimisation

  • Champion and drive adoption of new technologies and GenAI in all things marketing

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Marketing, Digital Media, Business Management or related.  

  • Full function media, performance marketing, strategy planning and execution experience, with minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience.

  • Strong performance marketing experience on the agency side / with tech products based companies

  • Familiarity with the pet food business is a plus

  • Experience of being in regional / global IBE roles would be an advantage

 

Expected Areas of Skills 

  • Fluent in English; proficiency in other Asian languages would be an advantage (Japanese, Korean, Mandarin, Thai, Cantonese)
