We are out here to find a dynamic and talented brand manager to join our brand marketing team and help us take Hill’s to the next level in Hong Kong. In this action packed and exciting role, you will be the OWNER of YOUR brand, reporting into the Commercial Manager, working with internal and external teams to create and execute exciting brand strategies to drive business goals. You'll have the opportunity to flex your creative muscles and use data driven insights to roll out brand campaigns (both global and local) that resonate with both, pet parents and veterinary professionals. As a brand owner, you'll also work closely with cross functional teams to build commercial plans and business forecasts. If this sounds like you, we want to hear from you.

Brand Ownership

  • Be the owner of the brand, and lead and manage annual strategic marketing plans and initiatives

  • Manage and develop the brand portfolio, and launch new products to make it more robust

  • Build consumer demand through in-depth knowledge of the market, channels, brand, and the consumer.

  • Plan the annual calendar of events and initiatives to create an impactful brand plan to impact both pet parents and veterinary profession partners

  • Business planning, including planning investments and forecasting business results as a part of the monthly business planning discipline

  • Work closely with the Professional and Veterinary Affairs team to develop and drive initiatives for Veterinary customers, with e-commerce team to help build strong demand generations plans, with customer development teams, with Finance Manager to manage annual budgets, with Supply Chain team to help ensure the right stock availability, and with Hill’s Asia Marketing team to ensure that we are creating one consistent brand across the world, efficiently and effectively!

SEM and Media Strategy and Planning

  • Understand local media landscape for best performance KPI achievement. 

  • Partner with agencies to develop, track and monitor  SEM and Media Performance. 

  • Help define the right media investment to seize best brand presence and share in market

  • Identify best media plan for impactful IMC and NPD initiatives execution

6Ps Strategy and Planning

  • Partner to create impactful in-store and in-clinic (including e-commerce) presence to make Hill’s the preferred pet nutrition brand of Vets as well as pet parents

  • Help define the right portfolio we should have in different types of stores and clinics

  • Developing the right sizing and pricing strategy for our products

  • Define & drive the right communication plans for different types of stores & clinics. Help produce / procure the right marketing material, including posters, shelf units, folders, detailers & other POSM

  • Promotion plans in line with brand objectives

Consumer relationship management

  • Partner to maximize lead & consumer acquisition and retention, improve consumer relationships and drive sales growth.

  • Define & drive the right communication via digital and social

Market Insight, Intelligence and Analysis

  • Be the expert on your brand and its market environment by analyzing data, field visits, consumer immersions

  • Analyze and evaluate market and business data on brands to monitor volume/business trends versus action plan

  • Use available third party data to monitor competitors’ performance

  • Basis data driven insights, identify growth opportunities, plan actions and make recommendations to cross functional teams

Education/ Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Management or related.  A MBA is preferred.

  • Full function marketing management, strategy planning and execution experience, with minimum 5-7 years of marketing experience.

  • Preferable experience in FMCG, retail (FMCG), nutrition.

  • Familiarity with the pet food business is a plus.

  • Experience in category management and/or consumer marketing experience is a plus
