As our CS&L Manager for the DACH region and a key member of the leadership team reporting to the General Manager, you will ensure the seamless supply of products across Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. You will lead a direct team of two and work closely with the outsourced Customer Service team, the CBS and outsourced warehouse & distribution providers, to deliver excellent Service levels to our customers.
By bridging the gap between financial forecasting and volume planning, you will drive profitable growth, optimize costs, and implement process innovations. You are responsible for delivering supply chain solutions that execute the business strategy. Your focus will be on developing best practices and ensuring that strategic initiatives are executed with precision across our supply chain and commercial organizations.
Key Responsibilities
Operational Excellence & Strategy

Monitor and optimize DACH CS&L activities, including Direct-to-Vet (HRO) and Direct-to-Consumer (Hill’s Shop) fulfillment

Improve the "Cost to Serve" by identifying and executing logistics saving initiatives

Manage the SKU portfolio, driving simplification and rationalization initiatives
Demand Planning & Inventory Management

Lead the monthly demand planning process (using Kinaxis), ensuring high forecast accuracy and performing root-cause analysis; drive continuous improvement of Demand Planning results

Drive collaborative demand planning (CBP) to improve service levels, increase accuracy, and minimize obsolescence

Adopt an ‘end-to-end’ view of supply chain inventory levels, prevent “Out of Stocks”
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Partner with Marketing on new product launches and promotions, review and challenging volumes and timing

Act as the primary link to CBS teams and external service providers to ensure seamless data and logistical interfaces

Collaborate with selected customers to support joint demand planning and cost reduction initiatives
Data & Leadership

Maintenance of Master Data and secure interface to 3rd party Service provider

Provide statutory reporting for EPR and Itrastat, including facilitation of audits and support in internal accounting related projects

Develop the technical, analytical, cross functional team working and Customer engagement skills required of the CS&L team
Your Profile

Education & Experience: University degree (Economics or Engineering), supported by 4–5 years of experience in Supply Chain or Customer Service & Logistics

Technical Skills: Knowledge in SAP R3 / APO and advanced MS Office skills (specifically Excel and Access)

Languages: Business-level English is a must; German is highly preferred
