As our Finance Analyst (m/f/d) you will contribute to the budgeting process, Annual Negotiations, pricing and other projects. We are searching for someone who enjoys solving and understanding problems, thinking ahead and understanding how decisions in the group may impact others. You will also need to have the drive to uncover the source of an issue, resolve it, and develop a new process to increase accurate productivity. 
 
Responsibilities:

  • Understand the business strategy and provide highly relevant insights into business performance.
  • Act as a key stakeholder in the decision making process through the provision of risk-adjusted financial information and analysis
  • Solid understanding of internal commitments and the external environment, identifying gaps and proposing sustainable solutions
  • Establish a Finance-to-Finance relationship with trade partners (i.e. customers)
  • Responsible for Commercial Finance tasks: collecting & challenging Net Sales estimates and assumptions, providing customer investment (Gross-to-Net) guidance on activities and calculating P&Ls 
  • Provide support during the Annual Negotiation process, by building simulation scenarios and proactively propose ideas or alternatives.
  • Actively participate in the Selling Price Increases tasks, by challenging existing pricing structures thus to drive sustainable profitability growth, as well as contribute to the Europricing taskforces.
  • Lead the “Return On Investment” mindset: “spending our Budgeted Commercial Investment smarter”
  • Provide with action-oriented reporting to Customer Development Teams to drive decisions
  • Monitor the accounts receivable monthly aging and DSO reports for the entire Company and pursue collection activity on accounts accordingly, along with Financial Support Services and Colgate Business Services Center in Warsaw
  • Provide with support to ensure resolution of customer payments and deduction issues.
  • Assist with Annual Budget and Estimate preparation, in particular on volumes, product mix, Pricing, Gross-to-Net and Net Sales calculations.
  • Provide with Analytics to support the Reviews & exhibits.
  • Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), particularly relating to Sales recognition and Gross-to-Net investments

 
Qualifications:

  • 2 to 5 years’ experience, preferably with a Multi-national Company
  • Fluent German and English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team (including professional and support staff)
  • Analytical and results oriented
  • Strong understanding of  the SAP-related Applications (i.e. BI tools)
  • Advanced Google Tools skills (Sheets & Slides) plus Excel
  • Promotes Teamwork, is driven and takes initiative 
  • Independent and responsible
  • Strong understanding and knowledge of major FMCG dynamics and trade partners
