The Brand Lead (m/f/d) owns the brand equity, growth & financials across both Profession & Consumer channels for the CEW region (Central Europe West / Germany - Switzerland - Austria).

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Owning the brand equity development, share of markets, sales & profitability across the region. 
  • Defining the brand strategy & growth drivers for the region in line with Division/Global. 
  • Developing holistic, people centric brand growth plans.
  • Steering the execution excellence of the commercial brand plans.
  • Management of a team of 2 Brand Managers.
  • Owning the brand professional & consumer portfolio (Core/Innovation) execution for the region.
  • Daily cooperation with the cross functional team ; Scientific Affairs, Shopper Marketing, Customer Development, Digital Transformation, Global, Insights.
     

Key Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:

  • College or University degree. A proven track record of performance with min. 10 years of work experience in Brand Management, preferably in Consumer Goods & Healthcare Goods, OTC / OTX. Experience in medical marketing & working with health care professionals is a plus.
  • Consumer & Profession focused: Works with agility and finds new ways through the use of digital tools and data to get closer to consumers and shoppers. 
  • Digital savvy: Experience with digital media to drive clear plans by media/ channel across the people journey together with the specialists in the Digital Transformation team. 
  • Innovative thinker: Champions new initiatives and experimentation. Gains buy-in & implements new ideas quickly & effectively. Adopts a flexible approach to problem solving and taking risks and quickly learn.
  • Interpersonal & collaboration skills: Works within the Hub team to influence people and build strong trusted relationships internally/externally to drive action and progress. Close collaboration with local and divisional Brand teams, Scientific Affairs, Shopper Marketing, Digital Transformation and CD teams. 
  • Highly influential: Able to influence people and build consensus, at all levels of the organization, sometimes without direct authority.
  • Leadership: Able to lead a team by example. Inspiring, forward thinking and going the extra mile to reach business impact. Coaching of the team will be a key skill. 
  • Data analytics: Ability and financial knowledge to evaluate and digest complex business processes, identify insights and opportunities and then capitalize and execute on learnings.
  • Effective execution: Achieving results with speed & excellence, eliminating unnecessary work, driving simplicity and being self-accountable for results.  Creates clear priorities.
