Associate Brand Manager (f/m/d)
Job Purpose:
The Associate Brand Manager (f/m/d) is supporting the development of the brand growth plan for our oral care brand Colgate. Including: people journey across ACPL, online + offline experiences, and aligned top-to bottom funnel outcomes across the Central Europe West Region (Germany, Austria & Switzerland).
Job Responsibilities:
• Supports development of holistic Brand Growth Plan for the Colgate portfolio with behavioral data and people-centric insights for the mass market channels in close cooperation with the Colgate brand lead, cross functional and divisional teams
• Supports the lead the commercial process (European Division/ CEW Hub/Country) for the owned Colgate portfolio
• Supports product management of a part of the Colgate portfolio (includes artwork creation, SKU management, claims)
• Prepares various analysis
• Responsible for the P&L and the SOM development of a part of the Colgate portfolio in mass
• Supports everyday operational tasks e.g. translations, PO generation, preparation of presentations & meetings
• Close cooperation with Customer Development, Digital Transformation team
Key Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:
• College or University degree. A proven track record of performance with at least 1-2 years of work experience in Brand Management preferably in Consumer Goods & Healthcare Goods.
• Consumer focused: Works with agility and finds new ways through the use of digital tools and data to get closer to consumers and shoppers. Puts consumer needs and experience at the heart of all activities and decisions
• Data analytics: ability and financial knowledge to evaluate and digest complex business processes, identify insights and opportunities and then capitalize and execute on learnings
• Digital savvy: Experience with digital media to drive clear plans by media/ channel across the people journey together with the specialists in the Digital Transformation team
• Innovative thinker: Champions new initiatives and experimentation. Gains buy-in & implements new ideas quickly & effectively. Adopts a flexible approach to problem solving and taking risks and quickly learn
• Interpersonal & collaboration skills: Works within the Central Europe West Hub team to influence people and build strong trusted relationships internally/externally to drive action and progress. Close collaboration with local and divisional Brand teams, Digital Transformation and Customer Development teams
• Highly influential: able to influence people and build consensus, at all levels of the organization, sometimes without direct authority
• Effective execution: Achieving results with speed & excellence, eliminating unnecessary work, driving simplicity and holding self-accountable for results. Creates clear priorities
• Language: German on native level; Proficient in English
