About the role

Are you an operational leader ready to drive manufacturing excellence on the factory floor? As our Plant Supervisor, you will lead the production strategy within your Focus Factory, driving operational excellence, cost optimization, and continuous improvement across key financial and performance metrics. Applying F.E.E.D. principles (Focused, Empowered, Experimental, Digital), you will oversee daily manufacturing execution, safeguard compliance with Quality, Safety, and Factory Performance & Reliability (FP&R) standards, and build a high-performing, autonomous team. Core Responsibilities

  • Production Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement shop-floor strategies for manpower, equipment, and material management to achieve the production plan and meet internal/external customer service targets.

  • Cost & Financial Management: Identify and execute actions to minimize manufacturing cost variations, controlling conversion costs, overtime, operating supplies, scrap, and material usage.

  • Inventory & Materials Control: Manage Focus Factory material and finished goods inventory (including blocked/obsolete stock) through physical cycle counts, scrap reduction, and reprocessing protocols in coordination with Finance.

  • People Leadership & Employee Relations: Lead, coach, and empower production teams through structured feedback, performance management, and technical capability building; proactively manage shop-floor labor relations.

  • Standards & Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to Quality, EOHS, corporate standards, and government regulations, ensuring swift resolution of audit findings.

  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Support plant growth by implementing new manufacturing technologies, digital tools, and operational excellence methodologies.

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Electrical, Mechatronics, or related).

  • Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in a manufacturing plant.

  • Practical knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, inventory management, and supply chain processes.

  • Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or Operations Management.

  • Direct people management / supervisory experience leading production teams and managing labor relations.

  • Advanced proficiency in SAP (MM/PP modules, inventory, production tracking, costs) and Google Workspace (Google Sheets, Looker Studio/Data Studio).

  • Experience with manufacturing systems and performance metrics (e.g., Downtime analysis, Asset Utilization/AU, MeetSmart, Opera interface).

  • Solid understanding of variable cost management, manufacturing financial drivers, and shop-floor cost allocation.

  • Prior cross-functional exposure to Plant Maintenance or Quality Assurance operations.
