Job Summary:
The SNP Replenishment Planner is responsible for managing the deployment of finished goods from all Colgate facilities, including Manufacturing and Contract Manufacturing. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional supply chain partners and the SC Integration Team to optimize the use of APO-SNP across the distribution network. The planner is tasked with executing a replenishment strategy that effectively balances service and working capital.
Responsibilities:
- Inventory Shortage Communication: Act as the key communicator regarding inventory shortages and availability. This involves providing timely and accurate updates to both the commercial organization and the Supply Chain team. By serving as the primary contact point, you will ensure that all parties are informed of potential issues that could impact product availability and take necessary actions to mitigate these impacts.
- Execution of DC Target Stock Level Strategy: Ensure seamless integration and synchronization between systems like R3 and SNP. This responsibility involves validating data integrity to accurately calculate Safety Stocks and Promise Logic within the APO system. By maintaining this synchronization, you help drive efficient and reliable inventory management processes.
- Network Balancing: Utilize strong analytical skills and deep functional knowledge to manage and adjust inventory deployments effectively. This involves identifying and resolving unplanned exceptions such as production shortages, necessary stock redistributions, forecast changes, and transportation interruptions. You will also oversee direct shipments from central warehouses to major wholesalers, ensuring smooth and balanced distribution across the network.
- Achieving Budgetary Goals: Manage multiple aspects of inventory and distribution to meet or exceed financial targets. This includes optimizing truck load weight, reducing unplanned warehouse transfers, and implementing cost-saving measures. Your role will contribute to maximizing customer service levels while minimizing costs and optimizing inventory positions.
- Exception Management and Root Cause Analysis: Conduct weekly analyses of inventory exceptions to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. This will prevent unnecessary disruptions in the supply chain and ensure continuous improvement in inventory management practices. Your ability to identify patterns and propose effective solutions will be crucial in maintaining efficient operations.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or similar.
- 1-2 years of experience in Supply Chain, preferably in logistics, planning, or inventory management.
- Advanced level of English.
- Strong proficiency in Excel; experience with SAP APO is a plus.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills to drive effective supply chain management.
