Job Summary:
 
The Order Management Specialist will act as the primary point of contact and expert for all issues related to order management and processing, with a focus on eCommerce transactions. This role is critical in troubleshooting and resolving order entry issues, ensuring data accuracy through collaboration with various departments, and supporting process improvements and technology implementations.
 
 
Responsibilities:
  • Identify and resolve order entry, capture, and creation issues, such as duplications, translation errors, and transaction discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with customers and IT teams to manage order reprocessing and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless transaction processes.
  • Support system implementations and ongoing improvements in EDI processes across the American continent.
  • Facilitate communication and collaboration between customer service, logistics, and IT for various projects and enhancements.
  • Develop and maintain processes and exception reporting to support master data clean-up and quality maintenance.
  • Train and oversee knowledge transfer to users and power users regarding new and existing SAP functionalities.
  • Provide backup coverage for order fulfillment teams as needed to ensure continuity of operations.
  • Execute testing on system enhancements and document any system issues that need to be addressed.
 
 
Required Qualifications:
  • Level of Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, IT, or Administration.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, order fulfillment, planning, sales, logistics, or supply chain roles.
  • Testing experience for system enhancements and troubleshooting.
  • Proficiency in SAP, APO, Snowflake, Sigma, SQL, and advanced Excel.
  • Experience in Master Data Management and eCommerce.
  • Language Skills: Fluent English (advanced).

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of electronic data interchange (EDI) processes is preferred.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for automation and process improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills at all organizational levels.
