Post Audit Deduction Analyst

 

Location: Mexico City, Mexico (US Scope)

 

 

Role Summary

 

Are you looking to accelerate your finance career within a global leader? As a Post Audit Deduction Analyst based in Mexico City, you will own the critical task of maintaining account integrity and protecting revenue cycle health for our US business scope. Reporting directly to the Post Audit Lead within the Junior Credit-to-Cash Team, you will manage end-to-end customer deductions, variance analysis, and dispute resolutions. This position offers a vibrant opportunity to partner cross-functionally with Customer Development and global finance teams, allowing you to use active problem-solving and digital workflows to eliminate financial leakages and streamline corporate cash flow.

 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Deduction Management & Audit: Continuously monitor, investigate, and reconcile trade customer claims, pricing variances, returns, and promotional deductions for the US commercial market to guarantee complete transaction integrity.

  • Dispute & Collection Operations: Initiate structured dispute workflows with external customers to recover invalid commercial claims and actively follow up to ensure prompt repayment of past-due balances.

  • Cross-Functional Partnering: Act as a key finance touchpoint for Customer Development and regional financial teams, ensuring all necessary documentation is synchronized to clear outstanding open items.

  • Process Automation & Optimization: Identify recurring deduction root causes and gaps, proactively designing corrective action plans alongside team members to implement automation scripts and process simplification.

  • Month-End Analysis & Key Performance Indicators: Coordinate month-end financial reporting processes by measuring cycle performance against key targets and compiling clear analytical narratives for senior management reviews.

 

 

Required Qualifications

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related administrative field of study.

  • 1+ years of progressive professional experience working within a corporate finance or transactional accounting environment.

  • Fluent professional verbal and written communication proficiency in English to support US stakeholders.

  • Intermediate to advanced technical proficiency using Microsoft Excel for complex data manipulation and table tracking.

 

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • 1+ years of foundational experience working with Credit-to-Cash (C2C) cycles, invoice collections, or cash application systems.

  • Prior technical experience navigating enterprise resource planning (ERP) platforms such as SAP or Oracle.

  • Demonstrated familiarity or interest in automated process mapping, digital upskilling mechanisms, or process automation layouts.
