We are seeking a highly skilled and data-driven Custmer Development and In-Field Technology Specialist to join our GIT EMEA Customer Development (CDO) team based in Dublin. In this role, you will be responsible for defining, optimizing, and supporting the technology ecosystem that powers our field sales functions across the Colgate, Hill's, and Filorga businesses.

Reporting directly to the Director and Category Lead for CDO GIT EMEA, you will act as the strategic bridge between regional business needs, our "AI-First" data initiatives, and Global IT teams, to design and implement global solutions, meeting divisional needs.  You will specialize in leveraging Sales Force: Consumer Goods Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud to harmonize field sales data, driving advanced retail execution strategies, route planning, and predictive analytics

Key Responsibilities

  • Solution Architecture & Design: Support the central team with design, development, and maintenance of the overarching architecture for our sales technology stack, ensuring seamless data flow between SFA tools, category management applications, and backend ERP/order management systems.

  • Platform Administration: Support technical owner and system administrator of our CRM system, managing configurations, user profiles, security, custom objects, and workflows.

  • Business Analysis & Requirement Engineering: Partner closely with regional Commercial and Sales leadership to translate complex retail execution needs into scalable technical specifications, focusing on modernizing in-field capabilities.

  • Salesforce Data Cloud Optimization: Serve as the functional and data specialist for Salesforce Data Cloud within EMEA. Design data profiles, segments, and insights that ingest field data to unlock advanced AI-driven analytics and next-best-action models.

  • Retail Execution Strategy: Lead the regional functional strategy for in-field Sales Force Automation (SFA) and category management tools, ensuring field teams are empowered with real-time, actionable insights.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Global Alignment: Act as the key EMEA liaison to the Global Applications (GA) teams—specifically aligning regional deployments with Global In-Field Execution frameworks.

  • Data Harmonization & AI Enablement: Collaborate with data engineering and programming resources to ensure seamless data flows between field applications.

  • Ecosystem Evolution & Showcase: Evaluate emerging retail technologies, champion best practices within the regional hub, and contribute high-impact solutions

Required Qualifications

    • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Systems, or a related field.

    • Experience: 5+ years of experience as an IT Business Analyst, specifically supporting Sales, Commercial, or Go-To-Market (GTM) functions.

    • Salesforce Expertise: Proven, hands-on experience administering & configuring Salesforce ecosystems, with specific, demonstrable expertise in Salesforce Consumer Goods Cloud and Life Sciences Cloud

    • Certifications: Relevant Salesforce Certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator, Application Architect, or specific CG Cloud credentials).

    • Data & Integration: Strong understanding of API integrations, middleware (e.g., SAP BTP, MuleSoft), and data modeling as it pertains to syncing field applications with centralized order entry and ERP systems.

Preferred Qualifications

    • Industry Knowledge: Strong background in the FMCG/CPG industry, with a deep understanding of field sales processes, retail execution, and trade promotions.

    • Communication: Excellent ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical sales stakeholders and vice versa.

    • Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment for continuous platform delivery.

    • Mobile Architecture: Experience dealing with offline-first mobile architectures typical in field sales environments.
