We are looking for a highly motivated Senior Supervisor - Micro to join our team!

 

What you will do

  • Lead cross functional continuous improvement activities to drive site C&S implementation process following Colgate microbiology and C&S quality standards

  • Develop and implement a microbiological sampling and testing program of water, raw materials, work-in- process (WIP), environmental samples & finished products at the facility. This plan must be based on QS023

  • Review and report accurate and reliable micro test results for all tested materials i.e. raw material, water, WIP and FG

  • Ensure all testing is performed according to Corporate methods and policy and adheres to good microbiological practices

  • Ensures that the interpretation of data is correct and results are effectively communicated to appropriate individuals, including management

  • Ensures that the appropriate microbiological resources, processes and methods are available to implement the site C&S program. Hygienic program & micro-related environmental control program for plant.Support Cleaning & Sanitization of all equipment both making & finishing

  • In partnership with operations and engineering, develop and implement plant floor micro control programs based on C&S quality standard, Control Point Monitoring, Micro Susceptibility Index and Process Validation

  • Train and develop the laboratory staff using the principles of Coaching and Feedbacks as well as the Competency Development Map for Microbiology

  • Develop & Implement microbiology training for plant floor management and operators

  • Participate in internal audits and external audits (contract manufacturers & labs, suppliers, etc.). Function as part of the plant GMP and Quality team

  • Ensures that the interpretation of data is correct and results are effectively communicated to appropriate individuals, including management

  • Ensures that the appropriate microbiological resources, processes and methods are available to implement the site C&S program

  • In partnership with operations and engineering, develop and implement plant floor micro control programs based on C&S quality standard, Control Point Monitoring, Micro Susceptibility Index and Process Validation

  • Understand, follow up and execute actions to meet requirements related to GMP, ISO, Regulatory and TGA standard/PICs (as per TGA product) , USFDA requirements

  • Develop & implement microbiology training for plant floor management and operators

  • Ensure Change control process validation is performed to comply with Standard and documented properly

  • Participate in internal audits and external audits (contract manufacturers & labs, suppliers, etc.). Function as part of the plant GMP and Quality team

  • Manages all aspects of all functional responsibilities under own department as per the approved policy

  • Performs other duties as assigned

  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree Microbiology or related major

  • At least 3 years Consumer Goods Industry Experience

  • At least 3 years of industrial experience (Personal Care, Pharmaceutical, Food, Consumer Products) with exposure to plant floors micro control programs

  • At least 3 years Functional Experience

  • At least 5 years Manufacturing Experience

  • Computer, Communication skill, English, Supervision and GMP knowledge

  • Self-awareness/Personal Impact

  • Developing and Coaching People

  • Teamwork and Collaboration

  • Basic quality, Micro, EHS ie. ISO, GMP, Halal, TGA, USFDA, DQE, Statistical Process control, calibration, Risk Management, Change Control, Micro 101, Micro Awareness for Plant Floor Operators etc.

  • Leadership / Management: Effective Supervisor Program, Performance Management (Setting objective work session, Coaching and Feedback, Having Effective Performance Review), Valuing Colgate People (VCP), Business Integrity.

  • Cleaning and sanitization program
