Discover Your Purpose: Role Summary
As the Security & General Services Manager, you will spearhead the Global Security strategy for our operations in Venezuela. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily General Services operations and ensure excellence across our Caracas and Valencia offices and facilities. You will empower an in-country security workforce while safeguarding our people, assets, and operational continuity.
Your Impact: Responsibilities
- Develop and execute robust physical security strategies and crisis management efforts that harmonize corporate objectives with local regulatory frameworks.
- Empower and lead the in-country security workforce through proactive supervision, continuous training, and performance evaluation.
- Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, crafting agile mitigation plans in collaboration with strategic external partners.
- Drive cross-functional synergy with HR, Legal, and Operations to embed a culture of security and ensure protocols are embraced by the workforce.
- Manage the departmental budget, and direct the executive protection program for key personnel, including high-security vehicles and specialized equipment.
- Lead the General Services area and support other evolving organizational priorities as needed.
Skills That Make Us Smile: Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Security Engineering, Criminology, or a related discipline.
- 3+ years of proven leadership experience in security management.
- Expertise in navigating complex risk landscapes, policy development, and high-performance team leadership.
Brighten Your Potential: Preferred Qualifications
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- Ideally within a multinational Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment.
- Advanced proficiency in security risk management, geopolitical threat analysis, and formalizing security procedures.
- Knowledge of emergency response protocols and global security policy frameworks.
- Mastery of technical systems (such as CCTV and Access Control) and vendor management for contracted security services.
- Agility with Google Workspace, collaborative digital tools.
