We are looking for a Print Production Specialist for a 6‑month temporary assignment at our Cali manufacturing plant. In this role, you will be the key owner of packaging graphics and print execution for the region, ensuring that every printed material meets design intent, brand standards, and print quality requirements.

You will work closely with Design Managers, external agencies, and print suppliers across LATAM, acting as the expert bridge between creative design and flawless print production on the manufacturing floor.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the regional packaging graphics & print execution, ensuring high-quality output across all printed materials.

  • Guarantee print quality and consistency in line with Colgate’s brand and technical standards.

  • Connect and align Design Managers, Pre-Press & Design Agencies, and Print Suppliers to secure seamless regional adaptation and execution of packaging graphics.

  • Drive continuous improvement in the end-to-end artwork process, including KPI adherence and output quality.

  • Ensure a clean hand-off from design/adaptation into the artwork approval and production processes.

  • Manage cost tracking and deliverables for pre-production activities (print trials, regional masters, etc.).

  • Validate that printed reproduction matches design intent, color standards, and print specifications.

  • Provide on-site print production support to the plant and broader region.

  • Assure delivery and implementation of color standards for initial productions and first runs.

  • Review and approve pre-press files and printer proofs, identifying risks and proposing production-feasible solutions.

  • Maintain accurate documentation and tracking of artwork data and print validation activities.

Required Qualifications:

  • BS/BA degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Printing Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in FMCG Packaging Design/Graphics (corporate or agency on-site).

  • Proven experience in similar roles within a manufacturing environment, specifically in printing development or packaging manufacturing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of: Packaging design, adaptation, and pre-press processes.

  • Experience with Packaging materials (labels, paperboard, films, flexible substrates, cans/plastic containers, etc.) and their impact on design execution.

  • Demonstrated project management skills with strong adherence to timelines and deliverables.

  • Strong collaboration and negotiation skills, with the ability to partner effectively with design, marketing, engineering, and suppliers.

  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • High level of empathy and stakeholder management, integrating different points of view into workable, high-quality solutions.

If you are passionate about turning great design into flawless printed packaging and want to gain impactful experience in a leading FMCG company, we’d like to hear from you.
