Role Summary
The CBS Supply Network Replenishment Planner acts as the primary operational bridge between Sub/Hub Demand Planners, regional Supply Network Planning (SNP) teams across the Americas, and production facilities. This position translates consensus demand plans into net inventory requirements while balancing customer service targets against inventory carrying costs. Operating in a fast-paced environment, the planner oversees day-to-day material purchases for promotional packs, monitors finished goods availability, and actively challenges logistics and vendor delays to ensure seamless supply network execution.
Key Responsibilities
-
Demand & Supply Synchronization: Execute daily, weekly, and monthly planning cycles to ensure target product availability at Distribution Centers (DCs) while maintaining right-sized inventory levels and synchronized new product introductions (NPIs).
-
CoPacker & Material Planning: Translate promotional demand into daily production schedules for CoPackers, purchasing packaging materials and coordinating the dispatch of finished goods to maquila facilities.
-
Proactive Risk Escalation & Vendor Management: Actively monitor supply chain alerts within SAP/IBP to identify potential stockouts or overstocks early, challenging third-party suppliers and internal transport teams to resolve logistics delays.
-
Service vs. Cost Optimization: Balance customer service metrics (OTIF, Fill Rate) against minimum operational costs, executing supply chain decisions under a net corporate benefit approach.
-
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Demand Planning, Transportation, Warehouse Operations, and regional SNP teams across the Americas to close operational gaps and improve supplier responsiveness.
-
System Execution & Best Practices: Maintain accurate master data parameters in SAP/IBP systems and utilize data analytics (Excel/Google Workspace) to drive touchless workflows and continuous replenishment improvements.
Required Qualifications
-
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or equivalent practical experience.
-
Experience: 1 year of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management.
-
Systems & Software:
-
Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP planning tools (SAP APO, PPDS, or SAP IBP).
-
Intermediate proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace suite.
-
-
Languages: Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency.
Desired Qualifications
-
CoPacker Operations: Direct experience coordinating third-party contract packaging (CoPackers) or promotional bundling operations.
- Core Competencies: Strong sense of urgency, high organizational skills, and the assertiveness required to challenge vendor delays and escalate risks immediately.
-
Transport & Logistics Alignment: Familiarity with internal transfer logistics, shipping schedules, and carrier tracking within regional distribution networks.
-
Problem Solving: Demonstrated capability in root-cause analysis applied to inventory variances and supply bottlenecks.
