Role Summary
The Analytics Specialist is responsible for managing inventory budgeting and network-wide inventory health, using advanced methodologies like Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO). This role bridges inventory theory with data analytics, designing strategic planning parameters within advanced supply chain systems to deliver optimal inventory levels that balance customer service targets and costs. The position provides technical leadership in establishing robust master data governance and data-driven safety stock strategies, supporting overall corporate financial and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Inventory Optimization & Strategy: Design, implement, and review regional inventory strategies using advanced MEIO modeling techniques to optimize safety stock and hit financial inventory budget targets.
- Proactive Warehouse & Network Capacity Monitoring: Oversee short-to-medium-term warehouse utilization network-wide, identifying risks of over-capacity early to propose and negotiate proactive logistical actions (e.g., third-party warehousing or labor adjustments).
- Inventory Health & Visibility: Track local and international inventory levels, proactively identifying and managing Slow-Moving and Obsolete (SLOB) materials to minimize financial write-offs.
- Master Data Governance: Lead the establishment, policy design, and maintenance of robust planning master data standards across systems, routinely auditing data consistency to ensure high-integrity planning execution.
- Analytics & Performance Dashboards: Co-create and manage the inventory budget, developing metrics and dashboards (using Domo, Sigma, or Google Suite) to identify supply chain gaps and casual factors behind inventory fluctuations.
- Cross-Functional Solution Implementation: Collaborate with Logistics, Supply, and Demand teams to implement advanced planning solutions, scaling process improvements, and utilizing AI-driven optimization tools.
Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a highly quantitative discipline.

Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience in Supply, Demand, or Production Planning, Logistics, or a related highly analytical supply chain role.

Technical & System Mastery:

Expert proficiency in Multi-Echelon Inventory Optimization (MEIO) methodologies.

Hands-on experience with SAP S/4HANA (Planning modules), Kinaxis, or APO.

Strong proficiency in data visualization and analytics tools such as Domo, Sigma, or Google Suite.

Practical understanding or exposure to Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools applied to process optimization.

Languages: Advanced English proficiency (mandatory for high-level interaction with regional and global stakeholders).
