Role Summary

Building upon a powerful and agile technical foundation, we are transforming our data and MarTech capabilities to power an agentic, AI-driven future. If you thrive at the intersection of modern data engineering, composable architectures, and emerging AI solutions, come help us engineer the core data architecture and automated pipelines that shape our next-generation customer engagements.

In this position, you will drive system integration, configuration, and end-to-end data pipeline development across our Marketing Technology (MarTech) ecosystem and Customer Data Platform (CDP). Positioned where data engineering, MarTech, and AI innovation converge, you will build automated activation workflows, optimize marketing operations, and design scalable customer data models. Key objectives focus on executing solid data engineering within marketing contexts, demonstrating high technical adaptability across composable stack environments, and leveraging AI to power automated, highly personalized experiences. Direct proficiency with leading platforms—including Salesforce Data Cloud, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or Adobe Target—serves as a strong advantage.

Key Responsibilities

  • Marketing Data Engineering & Pipeline Design: Design, build, and optimize robust data pipelines and data models that consolidate multi-channel customer interaction streams into unified profiles and a single source of truth.

  • Platform Configuration & Activation: Configure and manage customer data activation platforms, segmentations, and personalized messaging journeys. Enable automated data flows to ad tech, analytics tools, and downstream activation channels.

  • AI Solutions & Workflow Automation: Build and prototype AI-powered marketing workflows and solutions (including pilot/proof-of-concept projects) using modern AI toolstacks to enhance segmentation, predictive modeling, personalization, or technical productivity.

  • Integrations & Cloud Architecture: Connect customer data platforms with enterprise data lakes (Snowflake), analytics engines, and public cloud services using event-driven or batch processing patterns.

  • Technical Agility & POC Delivery: Rapidly learn, evaluate, and adopt modern composable MarTech platforms. Construct Proofs-of-Concept (POCs) to demonstrate technical viability before full enterprise deployment.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Governance: Partner with marketing, analytics, and digital business teams to translate marketing goals into technical specifications while enforcing data privacy compliance (GDPR, CCPA), consent management, and data governance best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related field.

  • Overall Experience: 4–6 years of hands-on technical experience in data engineering, MarTech development, or data analytics environments.

  • Marketing Domain & Data Expertise: Proven track record of designing data models and building production-grade data pipelines specifically tailored to marketing, consumer engagement, or MarTech use cases

  • AI Capabilities: Hands-on experience with modern AI tools, LLMs, or AI engineering workflows, with a demonstrated ability to build AI-powered solutions or pilots

  • Technical Adaptability & Platform Agility: Deep understanding of composable software architecture. Demonstrated ability to quickly master and implement enterprise MarTech/CDP platforms (e.g., Salesforce Data Cloud/SFMC, Adobe Experience Platform/Target, Segment, Tealium, or similar).

  • Data Engineering & Querying: Advanced proficiency in SQL, relational databases, data lake architectures (Snowflake, BigQuery), and script programming (Python, JavaScript, or similar).

  • Integrations & APIs: Practical experience with API-led integrations, webhooks, authentication protocols (OAuth, SAML), and cloud services (GCP/AWS).

  • Soft Skills & Process: Experience working within Agile/Scrum delivery frameworks (Jira, Confluence) with strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.

Preferred / Good-to-Have Qualifications

  • Direct hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Query Studio, AMPscript/SSJS) or Salesforce Data Cloud (Data Streams, DMOs, Identity Resolution).

  • Experience with Adobe Target, Adobe Experience Platform, or comparable enterprise personalizations engines.

  • Relevant industry certifications in Cloud (GCP/AWS), Data Engineering, or MarTech platforms.
