Oral Care Consultant
LOCATION: West Hungary

 

OBJECTIVE:

Build & strengthen the scientific image of Elmex and Meridol brands with practicing dental professionals and build trust, long term relationships with them. Influence and convince practicing dental professionals to make Elmex and Meridol oral care products an integral part of their practice, ensuring that Elmex and Meridol are the brands they personally use, use in their dental office and actively recommend to their patients. 

Expected % of travel: 80%

 

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Makes one-to-one visits to dental offices located within their territory, according to daily/cycle KPIs

    • The aim of the visit is to establish contact, build long-term cooperation and loyalty, encourage recommendation, merchandise the products and educate the dental professional as to the benefits of Elmex and Meridol oral care products 

    • Maintains dentists/customer records, personal sales record, competitor activity and feedback about Elmex and Meridol products in C4C database

    • Provides daily reporting about conducted visits/activities in C4C database

    • The detailing focus will be on providing technical and product information by organizing, administering and presenting at trade exhibitions, educational group meetings to dentists and on one-to-one basis

    • Distributes samples of oral care products, educational brochures and posters for dentists and patients; supplies scientific literature to interested dentists. Holds responsibility for products and materials forecast for own activity

    • Keeps track of POP materials and samples in dental offices (what dentists require mostly, if they distribute the samples and POP’s, if they hang posters etc)

    • Performs insights gathering projects and timely reports the findings. Recommends action plan based on gathered insights

  2. Represents the Company in main local and national conventions. Organizes local conventions in the assigned territory. Conducts detailing sessions and product training seminars.

  3. Suggests detailing improvement programs based on feed-back received in the field.

  4. Helps in the implementation of research studies addressed to the professional environment.

  5. Reports any Adverse Events on Colgate Products they may become aware of as part of their contacts with dentists, hygienists, area health authorities, pharmacists, hospitals and dental hospitals or others, according to Colgate Vigilance procedure.

 

EDUCATION, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Dental technician or dental hygienist degree or other high school degree with Dental, Medical or Biology background

  • 1-2 years experience in a medical/pharmaceutical field (dental hygienist, dental technicians, dental assistants, scientist/pharmacist, medical/pharmaceutical detailer)

  • Driving license (B category)

  • User level computer skills
