MIN PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:

Customer Development (CD) Assistant provides support to Group CD Manager and CD Managers. They develop and support the partnership between CP, the customers / retailers by helping to align our category/brand strategies and their shopper strategies to increase demand and Retailer support for our profitable growth. Aligning our in-store tactics through all the distribution steps up to the retailers to ensure we get our products into the POS, off the shelf, and into the home of our shoppers cost effectively and more efficiently than our competition

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Business Development

  • Assisting in daily operational work of the assigned Customer Development Team

  • Conducting market/customer/brand data analysis to understand trends and opportunities

  • Developing presentations to point opportunities to customers and for internal events

  • Creating customer and category reports, listing forms, collect and inform customers about logistics data changes

  • Contact the customer if needed regarding the given tasks

  • Other administrative tasks related to sales activities

  • Select and archive flyers, collect competitor info, creating analyzes

  • Take part in the preparation and maintenance of reports and other sales information required to be retained.

  • Supporting Sales Managers in forecast process and Customer Planning, Pre-Evaluation and Customer Execution

  • Managing invoices, checking and controlling prices, work close to Customer Service

  • Keep SR updated about changing assortment and promos

  • Monitoring and controlling execution of promotions and promo map update

  • Any other ad-hoc task or activity as required by the direct manager.

2. 5P Definition and Deployment

  • Monitoring and controlling execution of promotions

  • Monitoring listings and shipments of new products and promotions

  • Support in deploying RE activity grid by customers

 

3. Commercial and Business Planning Process

  • Support for CDMs in preparation for KAM review, ROI day and business reviews

  • Support CDMs in forecast process with Atlas - Customer Planning, Pre-Evaluation and Customer Execution

REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • University/college degree in Economics, Marketings, Business Administration or other relevant field is an advantage

  • Up to 2-3 years of working experience in sales/marketing at multinational companies is an advantage

  • SAP knowledge is preferred

  • Good organizational skills
