Job Summary
Conduct market analysis, evaluating and analyzing large and complex data sets, including product lines performance, SOM and Household Panel data, category and consumer insights and financial KPIs of the company.
Collect relevant data about customers and shopper trends in order to identify market trends and meaningful insights that would fuel the development of winning commercial solutions. across all levels of the organization and departments.
Develop relevant analytical tools, based on business needs, while also ensuring awareness and understanding of these tools across the commercial organization.
Monitor data quality and ensure business data and reporting needs are met.
Collaborate with the Hub Insights teams to identify local needs but also implement any regional, divisional projects.
12 month contract
Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Identify, prioritize Shopper/RE Insights across categories & customers.
- Develop robust customer business analysis. (e.g. SOM, Distrib.) to identify gaps and opportunities by category/RE/customer.
- Create a detailed analysis of the business, based on all market data available, outlining problems, opportunities and solutions for the business
- Work in conjunction with CX and Hub Insights to develop local research programs and provide relevant local insights that can be leveraged to grow our categories, in partnership with our customers.
- Define business requirements and deploy the agreed data reporting tools to the organization
- Ensure deployment of global/divisional tools and drive awareness/understanding across the organization
- Support the overall RCD strategy of the company by providing the relevant data/insights
- Support sales and finance functions in ROI analysis of customer promotions and in store events
- Collaborate cross-functionally and partner with all functions to improve data-driven decision- making acting as an enabler of simplification and efficiency for the company
Requirements:
Level of Education: BS/BA degree or equivalent or higher
Years of Experience (range): 1-2 in roles involving analysis, reporting, business planning, sales, retail marketing
Functional Experience and Technical Skills:
- Proficient computer skills, particularly in Google Suite (preferred) or Microsoft Office and analytical tools
- Advanced Excel user experience, other analytical tools would be an advantage
- Advanced English skills
- Highly analytical and curious
- Strong relationship skills - works effectively cross-functionally to align priorities, solve problems, optimize resources and drive effective execution
- Manages ambiguity and strategizes solutions / quickly develops alternative plans, as needed
- Uses shopper insights to develop commercial recommendations
- Pro-active, takes initiative to anticipate and resolve issues
- Comfortable working in a fast evolving business environment while managing “lots of moving parts & details”
