(Sr) Costing Analyst manages cost accounting, analyzes production costs, and provides cost information for decision-making. They ensure cost efficiency and financial accuracy, and should possess analytical, detail-oriented, and leadership skills. 

1. Product Costing

  • Involves preparing product cost for new products on ad-hoc basis, regular Costing release on quarterly basis and annual revisions of costing for budget review. To support management decisions on cost with commentary and analysis of cost trends on time and cost components.

  • Monthly Analysis of Company Performance through variance analysis on efficiencies and price variance
  • Inventory review and update to management on critical areas for improvement
  • Driving Continuous Improvements in Costing Processes for standardization and resolving cross functional issues related with Costing

2. Monthly Payroll Run

  • Interaction with Human Resource department for inputs for the payroll process

  • Interaction with the Treasury Dept. for ensuring payment of wages on time.
  • Completing the PIT submission with Tax Authorities accurately and within due dates
  • SOX Control testing and compliance for payroll processes
  • Critical skills – Ownership for Timeliness and Accuracy and thorough Knowledge of payroll system

3. Material Master Data Management

  • Follow-up action for ensuring completeness of master data

  • Maintain updated status of master data by Quarterly review.
  • Risks may impact the business decisions through cost drivers

4. Month-end closing & reporting

  • Responsible for all accrual entries booking in the month before month-end closing including annual accrual & ad-hoc from opened PO review.

  • Review the cost incurred in the month to make sure the correct booking
  • Interaction with CBS team for ensuring all steps of closing are properly completed on time
  • Responsible for accuracy reporting & analysis related to conversion cost & variances monthly & also visualize in dashboard

We are looking for a candidate: 

  • At least Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business administration or related fields. 
  • 3 - 5 years in Costing function
  • Understanding of Cross Functional Inter-linkages in Cost Structure
  • SAP Knowledge of Master Data, especially in modules of Financial Accounting Control (FICO), Materials Management (MM), Production Planning (PP) 
  • Leading cross functional meetings to drive alignment for Costing improvements
