Responsibilities

1. Project Management & Lifecycle Execution

  • Timeline Oversight: Track end-to-end development phases from concept screening through design, prototyping, and final launch.

  • Risk Mitigation: Monitor project milestones, identify potential production or technical bottlenecks, and work with cross functional team to  implement recovery plans.

  • Resource Allocation: Help allocate manufacturing line testing schedules, pilot batch trials, and engineering resources.

  • Lead e-TT process for new mold/ filament development. 

  • Cross functional support to deliver FTG initiatives on new product & raw material. Execute cost-reduction initiatives through localization of raw materials, identifying alternate suppliers, and implementing material specification changes to meet annual financial targets. 

  • Serve as a core member of the validation process, overseeing the technical integrity of new equipment, materials, and manufacturing processes.  

  • Coordinate with GTC for designing new product concepts and 2D/3D product appearance drawings,Manufacturing product prototypes/models.

  • Developing new toothbrush materials.

  • Confirming product specifications.

  • Confirming and transferring critical release indicators for new products.

  • Issuing test reports for new products.

  • Providing supporting documentation for product claims.

  • Maintaining and approving corresponding phases in the eTT system, and updating information within the PPM system.

  • Archiving product design phase and unit cavity mold phase documentation into a bundle book and  tech doc library.

 

2. Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with third-party vendors to source specialized tooling, raw materials, or outsourced manufacturing operations.

  • Internal collaboration : with Supply chain team & on site validation team to deliver new project grid on time. 

3. Prototyping, Testing, and Quality Assurance

  • Sample Validation: Oversee the Product mold development process, Coordinate a Preliminary Hazard Analysis for any new technologies. 

  • Develop a product design plan, product specification, new testing methodologies. 

  • Trial Coordination: Organize physical testing, component validation, and user/tasting panels to evaluate prototype viability.

  • Transition to Production: Guide the smooth transfer of validated designs into stable, high-volume mass production on the factory floor.

4. Documentation & Compliance:

  • Technical Records: Create and maintain detailed Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering specifications, and process routing sheets.

  • Industry Standards: Ensure all new designs adhere to internal quality frameworks and regulatory compliance standards (e.g., ISO or Medical device Rule  requirements).
