The Regional Treasury Back Office Analyst is responsible for ensuring the operational integrity, control, and compliance of daily treasury activities across the LATAM division and its subsidiaries. This role executes daily bank reconciliations, cash positioning, FX settlements, and bank account management (BAM) while guaranteeing strict adherence to SOX controls and corporate financial policies. A primary challenge of this position is managing external banking bureaucracy with speed and precision, coordinating cross-functional cash flows (payroll, tax, P2P, C2C), and proactively automating manual processes while communicating effectively with local teams and corporate leadership in New York.

Key Responsibilities

  • Daily Cash & Liquidity Management: Perform daily bank statement reconciliations to determine exact cash positions, coordinating with Payroll, Tax, Collections (C2C), and Accounts Payable (P2P) to estimate daily inflows/outflows and determine short-term funding or FX needs.

  • Treasury Transactions & Settlement: Confirm, verify, and execute foreign exchange (FX) trades, short-term investments, intercompany loans, and cross-border electronic payments with high accuracy.

  • Bank Account Management (BAM) & SOX Controls: Manage the lifecycle of regional bank accounts (opening, signatory updates, portal user access, and account closures), executing SOX test controls and ensuring full compliance.

  • Banking Bureaucracy & KYC Governance: Oversee Know Your Customer (KYC) documentation, bank legal requirements, and system setup of new accounts in SAP and banking portals, maintaining strong relationships to streamline bank execution.

  • Audit Support & Financial Reporting: Gather, analyze, and present financial data to support internal/external tax audits, annual 10-K disclosure reports, and daily variance analysis (forecast vs. actual cash flow).

  • Process Automation & Support Ticketing: Monitor and resolve internal Treasury service requests via the Creatio platform, driving digitalization initiatives to automate manual tasks and streamline back-office workflows.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Financial Engineering, Banking, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in Banking, or Financial Accounting functions.

  • Treasury Specialization: 2+ years of direct, specialized experience within a Corporate Treasury department.
  • Systems & Technical Skills:

    • Working knowledge of SAP.

    • Advanced proficiency in Excel and Google Workspace tools.

  • Languages: Intermediate-Advanced English proficiency (required for active participation in regional meetings and corporate alignments with US teams).

Desired Qualifications

  • Strong analytical skill: High degree of mathematical accuracy and strict attention to detail.
  • Process Optimization: Interest or proven capability in implementing VBA/Macros or digital tools to automate daily cash-position calculations.

  • Core Competencies: High resilience and problem-solving skills to navigate external bank delays under tight daily deadlines; strict commitment to confidentiality and internal financial controls.
