Job Title: CBS HR Services Manager

Department :  CBS HR      Division : CBS   Location : Mumbai


Job Summary                                               

This position leads the team responsible for answering employee and manager questions on all HR programs, policies and systems.   Position will provide oversight and management of compliance, risk management, and complex issue resolution.  Position will also provide guidance and coaching to team members on customer service and issue resolution.


Principal Duties & Responsibilities

  • Monitor and assign incoming inquiries to appropriate team members
  • Perform scheduling and work distribution activities for the team
  • Serve as an escalation point to provide assistance and guidance to team when needed to resolve complex issues
  • Ensure the team is complying with relevant data privacy and data protection policies and regulations
  • Provide performance feedback and oversee training and development of team
  • Monitor, document, and analyze customer interactions to identify improvement and coaching opportunities
  • Monitor and track team’s performance metrics
  • Develop and implement operational policy and procedure documentation and ensure that all documentation is updated in the  knowledge base and communicated to all team members as required


Education/ Experience Requirements

Minimum Education/Experience: 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Public Administration, Marketing, or other related field (Master’s preferred)
  • 7 – 10 years combined experience in HR, Business, and/or Contact Centers; Experience in Manufacturing and/or Consumer Goods industry preferred
  • 5+ years in a supervisory position
  • Proven experience in HR business process improvement and redesign, and operational management

  • Knowledge of service center technologies and HR information systems
  • Understanding of HR policies, procedures and processes
  • Ability to handle multiple data tasks/projects in a timely manner
  • Customer Service – Service oriented focus towards developing solutions that exceed expectations for internal and external customers
  • Issue Resolutions – Ability to effectively deal with dissatisfied customers and ability  to work closely with customers to enhance processes to ensure positive results
  • Communications - Excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to organize and present information in a clear and concise way
  • People Management - People leadership skills of including mentoring and day-to-day management of direct reports; Ability to lead teams in a virtual environment
