Job Title: Assistant Mgr/Manager - Treasury Operations

Education: Bachelor’s/MBA/Masters in Finance/Economics/Accounting/Business Administration

Years of Experience: 5 years

Report To: Associate Director - Treasury

Job Responsibilities:

  • Managing regional treasury operational activities, reporting requirements and the performance of the treasury back office operations team.   
  • Monitor the preparation of the daily cash flow forecast and cash positioning, review of cash and bank reconciliations between SAP and bank statements
  • Ensuring that all external debt and interest is properly accounted for and correctly reported on the company’s financial statements
  • Manage the execution and approval of ad-hoc treasury payments
  • Review the confirmation, and settlement of FX transactions
  • Gather data to help front office analyze and review treasury risks (i.e. interest rate risk, FX risk (transaction and translation)
  • Liaise with back office counterparts globally on business continuity planning to ensure preparedness for contingencies
  • Monitor cross-border payments (ad-hoc & non-trade) and compliance of all treasury activities relative to policies and market best practices
  • Manage month end closing process and revaluation
  • Ensuring all treasury operational activities are executed in accordance with policies and procedures and manage the confirmation of treasury  investment and borrowing deals and settlement processes
  • Assist with the treasury function’s audit process for both internal and external audits including liaisons on any audit follow-up points
  • Liaise with counterparties to process all treasury transactions including handling any queries arising after deal execution
  • Manage of CP’s bank account management process and bank fee analysis

Functional Competencies:

  • Work Experience in a treasury, accounting, or finance function either in a corporate institution or in financial services
  • Comfort with using Treasury management systems – familiarity with Bloomberg and SAP
  • In-depth knowledge of business and corporate finance principles
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to details
