Brief introduction - Role Summary/Purpose :

Championing the voice of our consumer, you will be the architect of the human-centric insights that fuel our brand and innovation strategies. In this highly visible role, you will fuse deep consumer empathy with a future-forward view of research to uncover the "why" behind the "what," guiding our business toward untapped growth opportunities. You will evolve our consumer insights function from a traditional research service into a dynamic engine of strategic foresight, shaping everything from product development to end-to-end customer experience. This role is based in our BGC, Taguig office.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead human-centric strategy. Serve as the organization's primary thought leader on the consumer, designing and executing a research agenda that addresses the most critical business questions and uncovers foundational human truths.

  • Drive the innovation pipeline. Partner directly with marketing and CIC on the innovation lifecycle, leading all research from initial territory exploration and ideation to concept validation and launch tracking.

  • Pioneer future-focused methodologies. Go beyond the traditional research toolkit by experimenting with and embedding emerging methodologies (ethnography, AI-powered analysis, CX mapping, among others) to build a richer, more holistic understanding of the end-to-end consumer journey.

  • Own the narrative of the consumer. Translate complex research findings into powerful, persuasive stories that inspire action and foster a culture of deep consumer empathy across the organization.

  • Build strategic insight capability. Mentor insights talent and manage agency partners, elevating the quality, creativity, and strategic impact of all research outputs.

Required  Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Psychology, Anthropology, Sociology, or a related field.

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in a consumer insights or market research role, either client-side or at a top marketing or research agency.

  • Demonstrated mastery in designing and executing a wide range of custom research or knowledge projects (both qualitative and quantitative).

  • Proven experience translating complex consumer data into clear, actionable strategies that have influenced brand or innovation decisions.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • MBA or Master’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Psychology, Anthropology, Marketing, Behavioral Science) is a strong plus.

  • Experience with a diverse toolkit of research methodologies, from traditional techniques to emerging approaches (e.g., ethnography, social listening, AI-driven sentiment analysis, CX mapping).

  • A deep-seated curiosity for human behavior, with a proven ability to translate human-centric insights into tangible brand strategies and innovation opportunities.

  • Exceptional empathy and storytelling ability, capable of championing the consumer’s voice with conviction and influencing cross-functional teams to adopt a human-centered perspective.

  • A forward-thinking mindset, passionate about the evolution of market research and eager to build a future-focused insights capability.
