Position Summary:

Ensure the safety of personnel through communication, training, prevention, and risk analysis strategies based on local and legal standards, as well as risk trends and reports from the workers themselves.

 

Responsibilities/Activities:

  • Safety:
    • Develop and ensure the plans for communicating, monitoring, and implementing the safety measures required by each corporate standard and legal requirement to guarantee worker safety at the plant.
    • Prepare, analyze, and monitor plant safety risk reports, establishing corrective and preventive measures in conjunction with the leaders of each plant.
    • Coordinate the weekly Safety Review meeting to analyze and monitor plant safety.
    • Develop and deliver the required training to meet standards, monitoring compliance with the training plan on the same topic.
    • Authorize and generate risk analyses and safety permits to perform work and activities that require them.
  • Quality:
    • Perform activities following the corresponding quality standards, GDPS, and GMPS.
    • Productivity: Knows and applies FP&R standards and uses them to establish, monitor, and ensure worker safety.

 

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Education: Chemical Engineer, Environmental Engineer, Industrial Engineer, or related field
  • Experience: 1 year in similar operations
  • Advanced English
  • Knowledge of Risk Analysis and Complaint Response
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace
  • Knowledge of various Mexican and U.S. regulatory standards
