The HR Business Advisor works with the HR Manager and New Zealand  team on executing strategic priorities including talent management, employee engagement and organisational effectiveness (performance, organisation design & capabilities and change management). This position serves as a business partner to managers and employees by performing a variety of professional level work in multiple functional areas of HR including: Employee Relations, Talent Management, Workforce Effectiveness / Organisational Development, Recruitment/Selection, Change Management, Learning, Total Rewards and other workplace initiatives.  This role is a critical position that helps shape business and culture outcomes, facilitating the achievement of our Company's growth ambitions and helping our people perform at their best.

 

What you will do

  • Provide leadership and guidance to managers and employees related to HR processes and strategies
  • Local championing of key global initiatives and involvement in global/regional/local project work as required
  • Performs other duties as assigned
  • Complies with all policies and standards

 

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field
  • At least 4 years of progressive Human Resource experience in partnering and implementation of HR initiatives
  • Ideally, experience in one or more HR Specialty Area (Compensation, Benefits, People Relations, People Development, Talent Acquisition, Diversity & Inclusion, Analytics, Organization Development/Design)
  • Strong project management, presentation, and facilitation skills required
  • Proficiency with Google applications (Docs, Sheets, Slides)

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post graduate qualification in Human Resources, Business, Management or related field and
  • Proficiency with SAP-HR and Success Factors systems
