Job summary:

The eCommerce Analyst is responsible for the implementation of Content and monitoring  our 6P+A (Price, Promotion, Distribution & Visibility of our Products,  POP Content, Ratings & Reviews and Availability) performance with eCommerce customers to improve the Customer experience online. The incumbent will support the Senior Business Account Manager and Marketing Manager to ensure Hill’s can deliver flawless  execution of our commercial plans.


Main duties & resposibilities

Implement content with eCommerce partners to deliver a superior Consumer Experience and Drive conversion of Hill’s products online

  • Liaise with eCommerce partners, providing content in the format they require and ensuring timelines are met
  • Use Prodigy (DAM) tool to manage and maintain Digital assets
  • Subject Matter Expert on eTailer Systems (eg. Vendor Central - Amazon)

Monitor our brands on the eCommerce platform to ensure commercial plans are executed in line with agreements and to the desired Hill’s standard

  • Utilizing eAudit tools and manual assessments to evaluate Hill’s 6P + A (Price, Promotion, Distribution & Visibility of our Products,  POP Content, Ratings & Reviews and Availability) in assigned eCommerce platforms
  • Create immediate action plans to continuously improve 6P + A
  • Monitor and follow up on unauthorized sellers

Evaluate effectiveness of eCommerce activities

  • Review promotion and media
  • Review performance using available data
  • Monitor Key Competitors using publicly available information
  • Provide recommendations to improve effectiveness

Evaluate and maintain the customer quadrant

  • Support the Sr. Business Account Manager in evaluating and prospecting potential eCommerce customers based on capability and innovation
  • Monitor execution of Hill’s distribution policies


Basic requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • MBA or 2+ years of experience in Sales, Marketing or eCommerce


Preferred requirements

  • Some web design knowledge
  • Some Marketing experience
