Job Summary

You will be responsible for the Canadian customer service and supply strategy with Hill’s Canada. Leading all aspects related to the Canadian business strategy and local commercial team needs and ensure execution partnering with supply chain teams in North America and CBS Mexico.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead CS&L aspect of customer relationships to support the commercial team focus on opportunities or issues with Primary Customers (Veterinary Buying Groups,Pet Smart, Pet Value, Mondou, Amazon) and facilitate their resolution with the support of the North America and CBS Mexico CS&L departments.
  • Drive joint value creation projects with our customers with principal attention to OSA and/or Logistics Efficiencies with the Commercial teams and other subsidiaries.
  • Ensure compliance of Terms and Conditions and Logistics Programs
  • Align critical performance metrics with Customer Expectations
  • Lead logistics efficiencies to drive Cost to serve improvements with customers for the sales Teams & Subs.
  • Participate in Joint Business Planning with key customers.
  • Partner with North American CS&L resources to establish and execute consistent demand planning processes to ensure product flow and availability above the targeted threshold.
  • Productively participate in the defined Demand Planning process to ensure Canada supply needs are met and/or exceeded. Key contact point with Primary Customers to ensure high service levels including order placement, customer stock levels; lead coordination of transportation and handle customer delivery process.
  • Actively take the CS&L lead in subsidiary. Identify commercial & business needs and issues, and engage the experts to define a plan that address them and execute it.
  • Develop all customer communication and deployment of internal communication regarding product issues including service alerts, out of stock and availability issues, product allocations including new product launches and product or packaging quality issues.
  • Coordinate regulatory compliance and issues resolution including importation permits and Canadian Food Inspection Agency.

 

Basic requirements

  • Bachelor Degree
  • 10 or plus years of Customer Service and Logistics or Transportation experience
  • 7+years of CGPG or related industry experience
  • 3 or more years of demonstrated leadership experience leading teams, projects or customers.

 

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA
  • Experience working directly with customer
  • Experience working in a logistics environment
  • CS&L or related certification
