Job Summary:

 

The Engagement Program Manager manages the day-to-day operations and relationships for the Food, Shelter & Love program, Disaster Relief network, New Pet Parent Program, Kansas Specialty Dog Services and VCA Pet Food Pantries.  The individual in this position is a primary point of contact for customers, corporate partners and field sales employees interacting with any/all of these programs.  The Engagement Program Manager manages the Food, Shelter & Love shelter sponsorship budget and all logistics pertaining to events and meetings related to the programs.  In addition to operations, the individual in this position will be share responsibility for all marketing and communications materials related to these programs.  The Engagement Program Manager must have strong influence and negotiation skills, as well as planning and organizational skills.

 

 

Principal duties and responsibilities:

 

  • Lead for communication with Food, Shelter & Love shelter partners
  • Manages all Food, Shelter & Love contract renewals, negotiations and communication
  • Manages logistics, coordination and marketing of Hill’s participation at animal welfare conferences, meetings and events
  • Manages the Food, Shelter & Love shelter sponsorship budget for shelter partner events
  • Owns the marketing & coordination of Hill’s presence at US shelter partner events
  • Marketing lead for shelter activation during national shelter sponsorships ie: Clear The Shelters
  • Drives development of all marketing materials related to Food, Shelter & Love, as well as the logistics of printing, kitting and shipping those materials to shelter partners
  • Manages all requests and shipments through the Disaster Relief Network from internal and external stakeholders on a 24/7 basis, including coordination with CSC and CS&L
  • Leads the cross-functional team for NPPP and is responsible for monitoring inventory levels, managing coupon replenishment, marketing materials and all product/packaging changes
  • Manages all executional aspects of the VCA Pet Food Pantry Program, including monitoring inventory levels, creating orders and acting as the primary point of contact for VCA Charities, pantry locations and CS&L.
  • Owns the relationship with Kansas Specialty Dog Services as it relates to product, POP materials and partner inquiries

 

 

Basic requirements:

 

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in marketing and/or sales, or the animal welfare industry.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid driver's license
  • Proficient computer skills ( Excel, Word, Powerpoint, and Google Platform Tools)
