This role will be part of a team dedicated to the operation and enhancement of a 15 building campus, 160 acre research and development facility. This position exists to support all PNC site building and utility systems reliability through effective maintenance, identification and communication of best practices, and planning/execution of capital projects. This position will require strong partnerships with Hill’s Technical Services team and JLL contracted maintenance staff.

 

Main responsibilities:

 

  • Perform project management on site capital projects. Must be able to lead projects through all phases (design, implementation, and commissioning) according to schedule and within budget.
  • Collaborate with Tech Services team and contractors to ensure site buildings, systems, and utilities are reliable, well-maintained and serviced as per the PM (Preventative Maintenance) schedule.
  • Collaborate with and provide feedback to site maintenance supervisor on site work order scope, priority, and execution quality.
  • Facilitate job planning/briefing/safety review and issue safe work permits to contractors, Hill’s, and JLL maintenance staff
  • Ensure site engineering documentation is maintained to a minimum level
  • Participate in long-term planning of capital and maintenance projects
  • Periodically review existing PM’s, add additional PM’s as necessary.
  • Coordinate site utility projects, outages, buried utility locates, and excavation work with contractors and site maintenance personnel.

 

Education/ Experience Requirements

 

Basic qualifications include:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering/engineering technology
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Google application (i.e. Word, Excel, etc)
  • Related internships totaling 1 year or 1+ year experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) such as Johnson Controls Metasys or other process control systems

 

Preferred qualifications include:

 

  • 1+ year experience in facility management or building/utility construction
  • 1+ year experience in project management or leadership role on project teams
  • 1+ year experience with Microsoft Visio and Project
