Packaging Content Specialist

Location: Prague (work permit required)

Limited Contract for 2 yrs

 

Job Summary

The Packaging Content Specialist is responsible for overseeing the Packaging Content Management System (DCE) and is the liaison with all internal and external cross-functional copy sheet inputters, approvers and translators. The Content Specialist is also responsible for analyzing, validating and segmenting the packaging designs into DCE. The role is also responsible for optimizing the copy sheet process and making on-going recommendations for improvement.

 

He or she must be able to deliver the agreed to business results while maintaining positive employee relations. The initial accountabilities of the role include managing the copy sheet process and in alignment with Regulatory, Marketing, Legal, Global Design and Packaging team and Artwork Providers, to ensure delivery of subsidiary business results in his or her area. The position would report directly into the Associate Manager Regulatory Affairs. 

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design review, artwork segmentation, creation of templates in the content management system and for the packaging copy

  • Oversees the DCE system; administrates, coordinates, edits, updates, maintains, archives, troubleshoots, sets priorities

  • Facilitates entire content management processes to ensure accuracy, legal compliance, process efficiency, including approvals of master documents

  • Proofreading input of the Packaging Copy into DCE

  • Recommends improvements of the process and consults with Artwork Manager and IT as requested

  • Attends relevant project and process meetings as requested, including regular production meeting

  • Trains copy sheet users on DCE operations and content responsibilities; creates and maintains content management tutorials

  • Proofreads and approves PDFs for completeness, consistency, accuracy and in compliance with clients copy sheet quality processes; edits final copy upon request and in compliance with the final approved artwork

Education/ Experience

• College degree in communications, graphics, business or related field; and/or comparable industry experience

• Experience in Graphics Industry is a plus

• Experience in Corporate Environment is a plus

• Strong ability to systematically organize data and set priorities

• Advanced user of multiple MS Office applications and web-based technologies

• Extensive experience of Adobe Acrobat (PDF)

• Meticulously organized and remarkably detail oriented

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including being a team player with multiple departments and personalities;a decisive person with straight-forward approach to communication; solution-oriented

• Ability to enjoy and thrive while working independently most of the time; able to work well with others

• Strong written and verbal skills with superior knowledge and use of the English language

• Knowledge and use of foreign languages is a plus

• Expert user and interpreter of information, documentation and tracking

• Self directed and self motivated, with ability to be thorough, ethical and proactive

• Professional engagement with client contacts; requesting ongoing feedback for personal growth
