Job Summary

The role of the Financial Analyst is to support the Associate/Finance Manager in the financial accounting for the Principal.  The role will focus on managing accounting activities, coordinating control and governance processes, Accounts Payable liaison and payroll. 

A part of this role is to actively participate and coordinate works done in area of PIT (personnel income tax) and CIT (corporate income tax) esp. to ensure that all financial data & information and CIT figures are kept in accordance with statutory and corporate standards. A person having this job is also responsible for the development and implementation of tax processes, systems, policies and internal controls.


Principal Duties and Responsibilities






Monthly Accounting Activities

  • Preparation of month end entries for principal, HPN Holding BV and Czech entities as applicable
  • Restructuring (GGEP) updates, entries and reporting
  • Special Purpose Ledger postings and maintenance
  • Interco invoices review, appropriateness of charges and coding
  • P&L and Balance Sheet Account review
  • Equity reconciliation




  • Ensure that monthly payroll agenda (including all day to day tasks) is processed in adequate quality, in timely manner and with emphasis on confidentiality
  • Identify additional employees benefits (paid either locally or cross-charged) for taxation on monthly basis
  • Authorize the payroll information for other departments (on monthly basis), quarterly payroll reporting and annual detailed compensation breakdown for CP
  • Participate in PIT returns´ preparation, continuously improve cooperation with tax advisors


  • Coordination and preparation of CIT return including preparation of supporting documentation with CPE and tax advisors.  This will include Czech entities and HPN BV
  • Support the preparation of CIT return for CP CZ as part of expanding synergies of the accounting team
  • Participate in tax saving projects in cooperation with regional and global tax teams


  • Japan Liaison - Japan support, ad hoc questions, invoices approvals, review
  • AP coordination and follow up for issues impacting the Principal and HPN Holding BV


  • Ensure all statistics documents are reported in a timely manner


  • Ensure all Inter-company documents are issued in accordance with local and corporate regulations / requirements


  • SOX – coordinate the review and testing as per Corporate timelines
  • Ensure all monthly and year-end financial records are reported accurately and in accordance with the Corporate month and year-end closing procedures
  • Operate internal controls regarding Corporate Income Tax and transfer pricing with a focus on minimizing potential tax risks

Education/ Experience Requirements

Basic qualifications include:  University degree, advanced written and spoken English, appropriate professional experience required (5 years)


Preferred qualifications include: Tax background, esp. Corporate Income Tax and Personnel Income Tax

  • Czech Statistical Office – providing statistical data
