As a Corporate Veterinary Affairs Manager you will be part of the United States Professional Consulting Veterinarian (PCV) group that is responsible for relationship building and influence with veterinary customers that results in endorsement for and active recommendation of our Hill’s products.

You will primary focus on corporate/clinic groups in veterinary specialty medicine at the national level, developing and leading the execution of strategies that position Hill’s as the most valuable partner providing scientific evidence-based advancements in the field of nutrition, engaging to support veterinary specialists in practice, and demonstrating dedication to transforming the lives of people and their pets.

 

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Understands the competitive landscape of Corporate Veterinary Specialty Hospitals.
  • Analyzes the business and develops, executes and monitors promotional plans with assigned customers.
  • Develops and maintain business toolkit with special focus on digital assets.
  • Executes strategy to strengthen partnerships (Develops and maintains a network of believing relationships with influential Key Thought Leaders (KTLs) in corporate practice.
  • Establishes relationships with influences medical leadership with corporate customers at the national and regional level, supporting the execution of the broader corporate customer strategy.
  • Maintains working relationships with internal commercial teams: finance, marketing, insights, customer development to provide customer insights and technical support for our products and programs.
  • Attends selected conferences and customer meetings; engages key contacts, delivers presentations and works the Hill’s exhibit booth, establishing relationships.

 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Professional degree in veterinary medicine (DVM, VMD or equivalent)
  • 6+ years experience in corporate (animal health industry), academic or clinical practice
  • Current, active license to practice veterinary medicine in at least one state.
  • Digital proficiency
  • Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • DMBA/degree in business related field
  • Customer development/sales experience
