Job Accountabilities

Briefly summarises the purpose and principle accountabilities of the role

Professional Brand Manager Accountabilities:

  • To develop/adapt master professional communication bundles for both professional and consumer brands

for Europe or as global lead working in close cooperation with Global Prof Marketing, key Hubs and Consumer Marketing (Brand Teams, Global MK)

  • To support development and validation of product concepts and GTM for relevant consumer innovation
  • To coordinate and support the Hubs (and related countries) in the adaptation and implementation of divisional and global professional communication bundles for both professional and consumer brands
  • To maintain comprehensive understanding of competitors and trade landscape
  • To actively support the Professional Marketing & Sales Leader in defining communication and engagement strategies for the assigned indications/brands
  • The role
    • Is a key professional contact to Hub Professional and OC Consumer MKTG teams
    • Is a key professional Marketing contact for Division  brand teams
    • Interacts with Global Prof Marketing under supervision of  manager

                                               

Responsibilities and Tasks

 Describes the key responsibilities as well as the degree of authority of the role

  • Manages development of master professional communication material bundles for the (assigned) professional products  incl patients and pharmacy and coordinates internal approval (Global Professional Marketing, Brand Teams, Legal, SA and KM)
  • Manages development of master professional communication material bundles for the (assigned) consumer products  incl patients and pharmacy and coordinates internal approval (Global Professional Marketing, Brand Teams, Legal, SA and KM)
  • Collaborates with Global Professional Marketing to develop global professional communication materials
  • Works closely with Consumer Insights to ensure that materials developed are based on professional insights and are validated before implementation 
  • Cascades and supports implementation of professional marketing communication from Division to hub markets to ensure effective execution and systematic learning
  • Actively participates in cross functional Global & Divisional Professional Go to Markets teams
  • Actively works with the Brand Teams to gives input into consumer NPD or GTM teams
  • Engages, briefs and monitors agencies within company network
  • Actively supports the management of the professional Marketing A&P budget
  • Systematically collects from Hub markets competitor activity and escalates findings and observations to POC team

 

 

 

 

 

Range of Qualifications

Describes the formal education, experience, technical skills required to successfully perform the generic job

Level of Education:  Degree in Marketing or associated subject e.g. Business Administration

Years of Experience (range):

  • Prior experience (3-5 years) in a Marketing role including brand management (healthcare/pharma desirable but not a must)
  • Prior field experience (1 or 2 years) in the healthcare industry is a plus

Functional Experience and Technical Skills:  

  • Proven track record in Consumer or Retail Marketing preferably in healthcare industry
  • Experience in managing creative and service agencies
  • Writing and delivering presentations and business plans a must
  • English native language  
  • Experience with CRM functionality a plus
  • Experience with digital touch points a plus, basic experience a must
