The role is responsible for category growth by Retail Environment, category and brand communication (as expert and owner of communication) as well as growth ideas by retail environment. He/ she will also develop the guideline for assortment, point of purchase placements, communication in-store as well as goto-market selling story.




1. Develop and implement activity ideas to drive growth for category/ brand in each retail environment to consider split of budget from total advertising and promotions for shopper activity.

2. Implement analysis required for category review by retail environment.

3. Develop Assortment Strategy by retail environment.

4. Develop Placement Strategy (merchandising guideline & planogram) by retail environment and by customer.

5. Adapt communication from Marketing for all customer touch-points (ex. point of purchase in-store, Digital channels, etc.)

6. Develop Retail Category Management budget guideline covering brand activity and shopper programs. Allocate in-store investment and media vehicles across customers.

7. Go-to-Market - Based on input from Marketing team, develop category/ retail environment-oriented go to market process and selling story - Cover new product developments (e.g. tracker & distribution gap identification for first 3 months postlaunch) by gathering and consolidating information

8. Joint Business Planning (JBP) process

-Internal: Customize category/ brand insights from Marketing by Retail Environment and adding growth activity idea.

-External: Attend Joint Business Planning with customer, present category and brand growth plan and actively participate in category / brand growth plan discussion. This role provides input by retail environment, combined with customer input from Shopper Development Manager.

Required: -

-Key accounts/ modern trade experience is required

-In-store/ Marketing/ Retail Marketing experience an advantage




- Business-savvy, strong field execution and high-level of customer and trade understanding

- Leadership skills - Strong verbal and written communication skills - Ability to communicate in a clear, focused, persuasive manner

- Strong analytical skills
