NATIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER - eCOMMERCE

 
      JOB PURPOSE:
  • Accelerate CP’s sales growth in Grocery.com with the goal of delivering higher SOM vs Main Estate for eCommerce in this group of customers.

 

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Deliver budgeted sales and profit growth, whilst developing the operational and strategic partnerships between CP and our Grocery.com customer base in the UK.
  • Manage the relationships and day-to-day contacts for CP’s Grocery.com customers.
  • Develop the contact strategy for CP in Grocery.com, with a focus on widening our key contact list in Strategic Grocery.com customers.
  • Develop and implement Joint Business Plans (JBP) which help to achieve CP’s budgeted sales targets and SOM (share of market) goals for Grocery.com.
  • Lead the development of an eCommerce P+L for our key Grocery Bricks & Clicks customers which can be taken into the Monthly Commercial Process.
  • Demonstrate commercial acumen in interrogating the business, in order to swiftly identify issues and opportunities for resolution/optimisation.
  • Work alongside the core CDM teams to help forecast/plan for eCommerce activity across our Grocery North and South customers, especially for activity run Online and not Main Estate.
  • Analyse the key promotional activities and business trends to understand results (e.g. ROI) and develop recommendations for future activities based on insights.
  • Build a portfolio of products which allows CP to accelerate its presence in Grocery.com, with a focus on refinishing the Mandated Assortment and recommending new SKUs to further capitalise on this key growth opportunity.
  • Provide valuable support in ‘Fixing The Basics’ with this group of customers, with a focus on improving Images, Product Titles & Descriptions Online, whilst ensuring all CP products are merchandised in the correct parts of the eStore for this group of customers.
  • Work alongside Shopper Marketing to manage shopper budgets for eCommerce in Grocery.com and provide recommendations to optimise ROI.
  • Provide support for key projects being undertaken by key customers in this space, including working from retailer head office(s) where this WOW is preferred.
  • Work alongside the CDM for eTAIL to share learnings from Grocery.com and scale-up learnings/best practise from Pure Play.
  • Work alongside the eCommerce Manager to develop strategies that allow CP to WIN with this group of customers.
  • Present CP as the strategic partner of choice for eCommerce in Grocery.com, sharing insights, and develop collaborative programme as eCommerce champion. Integrate eCommerce Channel perspective into UK Commercial Process.  Conduct and document test and learns for online innovation and growth & measure impact of Online vs. Main Estate activity.
  • Identify new growth opportunities within Grocery.com and help prioritise the key areas of focus within the Grocery.com landscape.
  • Assess the size of the opportunity for Grocery.com in Ireland, and build a plan accordingly.
