Position Purpose:

 

Support business strategies of simplification, harmonization and innovation through developing and implementing analytical strategies; benchmark innovative technologies to identify analytical technologies to provide competitive advantage to Colgate labs; build relationships with business partners and external research organizations, and foster an environment of innovation and competitiveness.

 

Main Responsibilities:


1. Excel at delivering fundamentals by complying with Quality, Safety, Regulatory and Environmental Affairs and Occupational Health and Safety requirements, and by integrating improvement projects and Corporate Sustainability Strategies in Implementation & Support processes at the Global Technology Center.

 

2. Maintain Funding the Growth as a competitive advantage, identifying and executing timely divisional/regional FTG and simplification programs

 

-        Manage analytical group aligned to global initiatives to provide support to Research & Development, Global Supply Chain, Technology Quality, Global Quality and Environmental Affairs and Occupational Health and Safety, ensuring resources and goals are in alignment with priorities and strategies

-        Ensure Quality, EOHS, and Regulatory compliance in the analytical lab.

-        Plan and negotiate funds and resources for analytical support.

-        Manage analytical competencies and personal development, providing technical guidance, mentoring and coaching to analytical staff.

-        Drive innovation for sustained growth by supporting the Divisional Activity Stability Grid projects with quality execution and speed; efficiently and effectively adapting, and implementing global methods for stability evaluation; selectively developing or implementing other new methods and technologies for the regions; and continuously providing timely support for the base business and local initiatives to drive the growth.

-        Provide stability physicochemical data to complete the stability testing of products according to the stability protocols manufactured by Global Technology Center partners to support Product development process and Implementation and support for Home Care and Personal Care Products.

-        Coordinate meetings for Stability technical reviews and project progress reports/presentations, including experimental data discussion/review, for senior management, department managers, professional and technical staff, and peers in other GTC functions.

-        Support business strategies of simplification, harmonization and innovation through developing and implementing stability physicochemical strategies

-        Share best practices across GTCs and insure minimum stability sampling to meet any local or regional requirements

 

Basic Requirements:

 

- Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, or related fields

- Advanced/Fluent English

- 10+ years of professional experience

- 4+ years of experience managing people
