We invite qualified applicants for the role of Technical Analyst. This role is part of the Enterprise Service Management (ESM) within Global Information Technology. This team engages with several key internal and external stakeholders to initiate and coordinate projects, build and support a culture of automation within all with the purpose of advancing our ITOPs capabilities. You will be working internally within the Automation team to develop innovative Artificial Intelligence concepts. This is an integral role in leading, developing and implementing a comprehensive monitoring and automation program which essentially includes but is not limited to Datacenter monitoring and Analytics tools.



  • Architect, develop and engineer cutting edge monitoring and automation solutions to enhance Colgate’s overall business program.
  • Administer Event Management and Automation Tools - Netcool Suite (Omnibus, Impact, Network Manager,Log Analysis).
  • Perform enterprise level automation using Impact application.
  • Solve ITM/IPM/NOI environment related problems.
  • Independently manage projects  .
  • Deploy business solution using new/innovative technology.
  • Present products and services to other teams and management.
  • Work in the space of event analytics and correlation.
  • Develop and  integration of monitoring solutions on premise as well as in the cloud (ITM/IPM).
  • Integrate and build systems capable of monitoring datacenter, Cloud (SaaS/PaaS).
  • Liaise with the Enterprise Service Center team to ensure alignment between the Automation and enterprise operations, thus coordinating the strategic efficiencies and automation.
  • Perform AI research, develop tools and assets to support AI solutions within ESC area.
  • Prototype and develop scalable algorithms using technical data lake to enable insights and decision-making process.
  • Perform advanced predictive modeling to unearth key metrics and define success.
  • Perform key project management functions to support innovation projects.
  • Provide status reports, analytics and updates on all ongoing projects.
  • Gather and document business requirements, changes and feedback.
  • Provide recommendations, opinions and ideas on areas of improvement.
  • Provide project assistance to other Automation projects as needed.
  • Develop tools to automatically reduce alert volumes and eliminate operational noise.
  • Develop tools to proactively detect problems through smart correlation and clustering of alerts from across your technology ecosystem.( Reduce MTTR).
  • Streamline collaboration and automate workflow across teams and tools.
  • Codify knowledge and automate sharing to make ITOPs smarter over time.
  • Participate in technology evaluations and assessments.
  • Manage the end-to-end implementation of new technologies relevant to the area of responsibility.


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Mathematics, or Engineering.
  • 5 + years of experience in an IT organization developing, configuring, and implementing IBM   Monitoring/Automation solutions (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years of experience with systems engineering of information systems.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence/ machine learning Operations and technologies.
  • Knowledge or Experience with Google cloud services.
